Calling gun control and civilian disarmament groups "Gun Safety Groups" is amazingly Orwellian. While I am frequently at odds with the leadership and politics of the NRA it is clear that their education programs (Eddie Eagle, Basic Pistol, Refuse to be a Victim, and 4 Rules) along with their promotion of proper storage have done far more to promote "gun safety" than those demanding bans based on cosmetic features, irrational fears, and faulty statistics.

I'm not sure if this is happening for everyone, but I've lost the ability to open & edit 4K videos in PowerDirector on my pixelbook. The app now claims that that resolution is not supported on this device and the FAQ on the CyberLink site lists several SOCs that do support 4K, the Pixelbook doesn't rely on a SOC and isn't on the list. The same 4K videos that I shot on my Google Pixel work fine even in PowerDirector on my phone, but not on Pixelbook i7.

You might want to publish a retraction on this, as much as I detest Elizabeth Warren, she is correct –
Based on the most current reliable numbers (CDC, FBI, and Census Bureau – 2016). Massachusetts does indeed have the lowest gun death rate in the country, at 3.4 per 100,000. (1)

Firearm HOMICIDE rates are a different story. According to the Census Bureau’s 2016 population estimates (2) and 2016 FBI crime data (3) Massachusetts has the 16th* lowest rate. Of note, as well, is that all of the top 10 states with the lowest firearm homicide rates allow some form of open carry (Let me know if you want a full report)

Or, when a motorcycle is turning left from a major road onto a side street and a car on said side street ignores both the motorcycle and the stop sign to turn left across the path of said motorcycle the rider CAN quickly stop mid-turn to avoid t-boning the car or dropping the bike. He cannot do it without shearing off the valve stem on his rear tire causing a catastrophic flat that will brake the bead between the tire and rim in the following steep curve on an overpass.

Thankfully, the rider was not injured and the bike was repaired within a few months. The helmet has been tragically laid to rest and the new helmet has a camera.
