Apple has done an excellent job at convincing the public that their products are cool and innovative.  Take a look at most shows that are aimed toward teenagers and college-aged people and you'll see Apple product placement all over the place.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It's an expert move by Apple, hence why they can charge ridiculous amounts of cash for their stuff.
