I've noticed that I am biking less & walking more. I've used the lime bikes more than my own bike.

Usually because I had walked somewhere and I'm not in the mood to walk back. The Lime ebikes seem to be all over the place.

I don't have a car so I always use public transportation of some sort.
But living on 15 and Dravus means I bike on the sidewalk to Petco. Because I think we all know 15 is barely accommodates cars safely, I wouldn't ride on the street.

That brings up its own issues because the sidewalks of 15 are clearly not meant to be walked or ridden on. That whole side of the street from the Ballard bridge to the Magnolia bridge is treated like a garbage can.

I'm not willing to put my good bike tires on crapy side walks that are broken, covered in weeds, & have never-picked-up trash on them including glass.

City planning is delightful. They planned expanding the artery of Dravus that connected 15th to Magnolia and then expanded it to 5 lanes. Then businesses built 600 apartments in a 4 block radius. So there's no cross walk for me to walk over to the grocery store or to get on the proper side of the street to ride my bike towards Magnolia. Because the city planned in the past instead of the future.

That's what is happening. The city plans making bicycling easier and safer. But they did not plan for the future. There is no way in h*** I would have ridden my bike down down with all of the construction not even related to the Hole in the ground.

It would be really great if I could ride my bike to the Mercer entrance of the Great Hole and ride safely to SoDo. But bikes were not at all in any discussion around the Great Hole. For that matter, turning the viaduct into a bike path.

And if you talk to me about the bike path through the Innerbay to downtown, I will say to you that I am a female and I will be alone.

Of all the places that I go in the greater Seattle area, there is nothing less safe for a woman on a bike or walking than the strip of 15th through the Innerbay to Nickerson or Thorndyke.

HD, all of us are living in a bubble that reinforces our views. you live in a different bubble than I do. Mine shows me quotes from Twitter that Donald Trump tweets. Donald Trump is a billion times more whiny than David Hogg ever thought about being.
As well as being a "little white lie-er (per Hope Hicks), showing no knowledge of civics, and escalating the opinion of the rest of the world that we are being ruled by a lunatic with narcissistic personality disorder, caused when his father abused him when he was 7.

I really don't see you using Hulu. the sponsors want people to will pay for their services and items for the next 60 years. your money is no good to them because you wouldn't have spent it on them anyway. notice the lubricated catheter people didn't pull out of fox. That's the current Generations economic need.

Kim, I sort of agree with you. Hillary lost because she did not reach out to the part of the democratic party that was as engaged as the Trumpies.

And the Democratic party is suffering as a result. But people are not going to go to the polls in 2018 as Democrats and Republicans. We're all going to go and vote against the person who supports Trump.

one of the corporations that left Laura Ingraham show is Hulu. I've posted earlier about what Hulu is so you'll have to read. Hulu doesn't care about the generation that you are, white clowns.
they care that David's generation is going to pay for things for 60 more years. They want that money. now David's generation will feel that Hulu is on their side against the kind of rhetoric that Laura Ingraham produces.
It's about money. it's not about whether Laura Ingraham is right or wrong for the sponsors. It's about capturing people's attention that are going to buy that sponsors products.

And some people aren't too old to understand there's a difference to a government generated website of arrests versus a user-generated website of information they want you to believe

I clicked on that site.
That site clearly states that it is not a an official listing of arrests. Users add people to that site. It is a user maintained site.
Which means someone out of David's picture and information to it.
it doesn't mean that David was arrested.

There is no other information online about David being arrested. and if he was arrested there wouldn't be any information online because he's a minor.
So that link is a red herring and false. Kim, I'm not sure you're equipped for this battle any more than I am in my late 50s. Either you had read the full website to realize it is user generated and not arrest record generated and decided to ignore that and use it as a stick. Or you're as old as I am and you don't know how the internet works so you just accept it as real.
That is for David's generation. Although I am sure able to get to the polls.

Free speech is a double edged sword that cuts both the wielder and their victim. Plus he got into three other schools. He just wanted UCLA. Plus you saying that makes you part of the generation that doesn't make money for Laura ingraham's sponsors. Those sponsors are not about conservative or liberal views. They are about money money money money. They need to sell their product to a generation they can sell it to for 60 years. Not your generation.

I'm angry that semi-automatic and automatic weapons can be purchased by civilians. But you're right, if anger doesn't change into action then anger festers and picks up a gun to shoot people. I don't want to shoot people. So I translate my anger into action as an adult.

Here is something you should know. What you've just said here is part of what the sponsors understand.
One of the sponsors that pulled out of Laura Ingraham show is Hulu. In case you don't know, Hulu is something you watch on your television that contains TV shows, movies, all sorts of things, including Fox.
I don't have cable or satellite either. I have Hulu.
Hulu has every statistic on who watches what.
The future of Television is not television. It is streaming companies like Hulu. Who lose never going to get your money. Hulu and other services and sponsors like that our current and future technology. They want David's generation of money. That is why they pulled out of Laura Ingraham show. Your generation that is extremely proud of not having cable or satellite is going to die way before David's generation. You have no leverage with Hulu.

Putin is now responsible for part of the USSR. Trump can be responsible for part of the United States.

We will just have to keep an eye on Trump to keep him from invading the Ukraine or the Republic of New England.

and he's going to go to college he was accepted to three of them. that's what this whole Laura Ingraham thing leaves out of this tale.
so far he's got into slightly less than 50% of the college's he wanted to go to.

I got into both of the colleges that I applied to in 1978. My grade point average was better. But I sure didn't apply to UCLA because I wouldn't have been accepted.
