Naturally, I would vote for the couple with BLAZING chemistry on General Hospital. Elizabeth Webber and Nikolas Cassadine are where it's at. I wish AJ's juvenile behind would get lost and go knock over another lamp with Cujo...eerr sorry, CARLY again while rolling around in the sheets. End that farce of a triangle and put the couple that shines bright at the forefront....NIZ FTW!!!!!

So proud of #TeamNiz. WE DID THAT!!!! Tyler and Becky deserve this and it all feels so bittersweet after watching Guza try to ruin their characters beyond belief from 2009 - 2011. Phenomenal talent creating phenomenal chemistry on our television sets. Here's to hoping for Liz to let go of the guilt and let her heart lead her to the arms of Nik. They deserve to be happy, sharing their love openly and honestly with everyone.

I'm also really happy to see Ejami high up there as well. My favorite DOOL couple. I'm on a high and can't come down, my two favorite soap couples were #1 and #2 along with actor and actress. Talk about a SWEEP!!!!

God knows how long we had to wait for our EJami on DOOL. The push and pull between the two. They hurt each other in the worst way possible, but that chemistry is too good to look away from. It's funny the parallels between Sami and Liz. Both had teenage romances that were popular (Lumi and LL2), but as adults, they found men that complement them in every way possible in EJ and Nikolas. Sami and Liz refusing to admit their love for their men and go towards very "safe" pairings with Rafe and AJ, but those were just boring to watch and just not the same magic that we're use to. God, I love the two couples. <3 #Niz2013

Rebecca Herbst and Tyler Christopher continue to be the root for couple on General Hospital. After cruel year in 2011 by the then head writers and execs, the firings/re-hirings, we all were emotionally drained. Here and now, we have two great talent continuing to show their story through the struggle of letting their love have its shot when outside influences try to interfere. Never has Elizabeth Webber found a more compatible and passionate lover than Nikolas Cassadine. He's a big part of her past, present, and future. Intellectually, he challenges her and keeps Liz on her toes. Both have no problem calling out the other when they are spewing nonsense or bull. Being able to read your partner so well speaks volumes of your connection and bond. I feel that Liz has had three relationships that has brought her full circle. She had an epic first love romance with Lucky that truly made our hearts melt, but as we learned with time, your first love isn't always your TRUE LOVE. Ric helped transition Liz from a teenager to a young woman in experiencing a romance greater than puppy love. Lastly, Nikolas helped bring things full circle as a grown woman, deserving of a passionate lover who completes them mentally, physically, and emotionally. They are each other's infinity! Team Niz has waited YEARS for this reunion and hopefully RC and FV will answer our prayers and give this couple a true shot at happiness. Liz needs a man, not a man child to look after and Nikolas will give her that. Niz 2013, it's OUR TIME!!!

Naturally, I voted for my NIZ (Nikolas and Elizabeth) from General Hospital and Ejami (EJ and Sami) from Days. They're defying all odds, showing that the chemistry of what made supercouples back in the day, still exist. Niz and Ejami FTW!!!!

I respect your opinion and your rooting for your couple, but how could you say the reason for Becky's termination was because of the affair that was written for her by Guza? First of all, Robert Guza was not a fan of the character of Elizabeth Webber and had seen to it that he destroyed the character in the worst way possible. There was a reason most of the cast DESPISED him. Nancy Lee Grahn ripped him a new one right after his termination because she no longer had to suppress her feelings about him anymore. Luckily, Liz has been one of the most loved characters on the show for the longest, so her strong fan base kept her employed with the show. Guza had a vendetta against her character and most legacy characters of the show for that matter, killing them brutally and unnecessarily. You say about her not treating AJ like she's his savior or guardian angel, yet, that's what she serves as when he has his panic attacks. She's almost playing like a mother figure to him. Along with his battle with alcohol addiction as well, he is a recipe for typical Lizzie saving. He's just another male that Elizabeth has to provide emotional support to in order for them to stand on their own two feet. With Nikolas, she doesn't have to do or be that. She doesn't need to fix him or be the crutch he needs to lean on. All he needs is from her is her love and that's enough for him.

AJ already has a huge secret hovering over the "fresh" and "honest' start that Liz asked him for when showing up to his mansion that night. He didn't respect her enough to be honest about the sex he had with Carly hours ago, when she was honest about kissing Nik the same night.

To each their own though, but your insinuating Becky got fired because of the Niz affair did not sit right with me and I had to set the record straight.

I voted for the two couples that have made me root for them when they had a stacked deck of cards against them. Niz (Nikolas and Elizabeth - GH) and Ejami (EJ and Sami - DOOL), are my root for couples. The chemistry and dynamic the actors and actresses have with their partner is truly something to behold. I love the parrallel of the two from different shows. Liz and Sami had great first loves in Lucky and Lucas, but found sizzling grown passion with Nikolas and EJ. The European ELITE families of DiMeras and Cassadines are one in the same. Elizabeth coming from the Hardy family tree and Sami from The Brady family tree, respectable families in the community. I've had to wait years for my Ejami to finally get together (again, but for real this time) and I've waited for years for my Niz to reunite as well. Here's to my favorite two couples getting into the final four.

Excellent post! If you weren't part of the "UNHOLY QUAD" of Sonny, Jason, Carly, or Sam, you became indispensable to the regime. That writing style and method is what led to the downward spiral of the General Hospital we knew and love. Nikolas and Elizabeth provide that special connection and chemistry that you need in a couple for them to thrive and stand on their own. I look forward to seeing what they can do as a couple that doesn't have to hide their love or feelings, but feel like they can share it with those they care the most about. #Niz2013

I have to give it up to Will and Sonny this week, they did a spectacular job on DOOL. My support goes out to Nikolas Cassadine/Elizabeth Webber, EJ DiMera/Samantha Brady, and Will Horton/Sonny Kiriakis.

I adore my Niz and cannot wait for the day when the writers finally reunite the two. It's all in the eyes, no need for physical touches or words to be spoken. Niz can pull you in with just their gazes alone. There is nothing forced or contrived about this couple. Those gazes range from love, longing, sadness, happiness, playfulness, and so on. They truly make me smile when we are graced with their presence. Something feels so comfortable and SO RIGHT about them. 16 years, Nikolas and Elizabeth could not be more connected on every level. All I want is for Liz to let her heart win. Let go of the guilt and stop letting others dictate her happiness. They aren't the ones that have to live her life, she is the only one. Year of the Niz!!!

Definitely agree with you on this one, Lacey. The character of Elizabeth has ALWAYS been a popular character on the show and she consistently topped polls, online and in magazines. This does not surprise me in the least that she's excelling in this competition. Becky's fans are what saved her and led to the eventually firing of that sexist legacy character killer, Robert Guza Jr. She's finally getting the LEAD like exposure her character should've been getting for years. As a legacy character to the original heartbeat of the show, Steve Hardy, it's about time.

Of course, I voted for Nikolas/Elizabeth (GH) for my favorite couple, now if only our writers can get it together. BEST SOAP to me for the week was THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL. Good stuff!

It's tough with the new format because multi-shippers have to prioritize their ships, but it's a nice change by the staff and we'll see what comes of the new format. Just wanted to express my love for EJ/Samantha (DAYS), Wyatt/Hope (B&B), and Billy/Chloe (YR). <333

Voting for my loves, Nikolas & Elizabeth from General Hospital and I also voted for GH as Soap of the Week. The show has been on a roll this past week with the story lines, minus Liz and AJ, for me personally. Everything else has been golden lately, good for RC and FV. Our actors and actresses are finally getting meaty material to showcase their talents. I'm very pleased with the progression the writers have had on GH because things were looking REALLY BAD at one point.

Voting for Tyler Christopher and Rebecca Herbst, along with their pairing "Nikolas & Elizabeth." On Monday, August 19th, Team Niz will be able to celebrate the 16th Anniversary of when Becky and TC first shared scenes on General Hospital. Over the course of those 16 years, we were able to grow with their characters. We laughed, we cried, we shouted at them, shook our heads in disappointment, cheered them on, worried for their safety and jobs, etc. We've literally seen it all between these two, but one thing has never changed, the chemistry that has been present since August 19, 1997. So CHEERS to Niz, may we have another 16 years to come.

Voting for my loves, Tyler Christopher and Rebecca Herbst of General Hospital. Thank you, for both bringing life to the characters of Elizabeth Webber and Nikolas Cassadine. I just feel like I grew up with them as they portrayed their fictional characters. We cried with them over their loss and heartbreak, we celebrated their triumphs together and separately, and we also watch them evolve into adults (at least their characters anyway :p). I'm hopeful that the General Hospital team will get it write and get the ball rolling with this amazing couple. Nik and Liz have EVERYTHING needed to create a power couple. They have the chemistry, history, and huge fan following. LET'S DO IT, GH!!!!
