Just wanted to say big congrats with finishing the book. I read Game Programming Patterns some years ago and really enjoyed it. In fact, it's one of the only programming books I really recommend to other people.

The new book is not really for me, but nevertheless it has been fascinating following your progress.

People in Europe, however, have a limited amount of customization options. For example, we cannot buy the FHD non-touchscreen model with i7 and the bigger battery. I decided to create a petition to show Dell Europe that there is a demand for more customization options. Please consider supporting it, thanks:

Jeg har heller ikke brug for 4K touch screen, men desværre er man nærmest tvunget til at købe denne model i Europa. I USA har de flere customization options. I have been using WaniKani together with TextFugu for a few months. It's really great! I am at level 3 right now, and it is still fun learning kanji.

I like WaniKani more than traditional Anki decks, partly because of the website's look and feel, and also because it is convenient to have access to a website where everything (mnemonics, pronunciations, readings in kun- and on-yomi, etc). is stored in one great package.

Also, the community there is really nice with lots of activities in the forums :)

People who are interested should definitely try out WaniKani, especially since the two first levels are free (about a month or so of daily studies). However, it is fairly slow in the beginning, but that is on purpose. After level 2 things will start to go faster and faster.

That makes me a little sad. I was just going to order two mangas from your site the other day. Then, when I checked the shop the next day, it was down.

If you by any chances have any copies left of either Yotsuba! or Shirokuma Café (or both), I would be real happy to purchase them. I live in Denmark, so it shouldn't bee too difficult with shipping.

I accidentally created a NEW DROPBOX ACCOUNT when I signed up with my university e-mail. I wasn't logged in with my normal Dropbox, and now I have two accounts instead of one. Is it possible to transfer the new space to my original Dropbox account?

Just tried it. Very fascinating game. I know that you are planning on more story stuff, but right now the lack of story makes you imagination do wonder. I felt the game as being very metaphorical. I especially liked the theme with crows (are you yourself a crow, maybe?).

Can you maybe talk a little about how you implemented the gravity/teleport mechanic? I have been thinking about doing a similar game in Unity for quite some time now. However, instead of being relatively slow and story-driven, I am thinking about making a high-speed platform/parkour game kind of like inMomentum.

Interesting concept. Reminds me of the iPad game Shot Shot Shoot.

Just tried the PC version. Playing with a computer keyboard is definitely not the optimal way; I imagine it being much more entertaining with drums like shown in the video.

However, I have a hard time seeing if there is any real strategy involved besides just hitting as fast as possible (without overheating, though). Would be cool if you had to actually follow the rhythm and beat of the music, or maybe some kind of "Simon Says" where one player has to repeat the other.

Very interesting subject and great read.

It's funny, I don't even know how I ended up on your site. It just happens to sit in my Google Reader account :P

I read the blog post in a train on my iPad using Read It Later. I also bookmarked a couple of your links to read later, which will probably be in a few weeks or months. The chance of me remembering how I got to these articles/websites is small, but since I just interacted with you by writing this comment, it might be a little bigger.

I believe the technology is already there. Just look at how Google Analytics track what links you have been on. However, that is more for commercial use than personal.

I also think people generally don't like to be watched/tracked. Almost every browser today have some sort of incognito mode if you are doing some more private stuff.
