These look amazing Cannonfodder. They're a brilliant way to get affordable Bloodcrushers that look the part. I can imagine how menacing the full unit was.

The Imperator is about 3" to the top of its head, and 5" to the top of the highest gun on its back.

In real life it would be about 63' at the highest point, that's if my maths is right at least.

He is one of the Hero's for the army - Battle Standard Bearers are like the Imperial Guard Regimental Standard Bearers of Warhammer Fantasy. Many units can take Standards, but you can only have one Battle Standard per army. :-)

Aye they are indeed, they're the plastic Warlords that were out with 'Space Marine'. The modern Warlords are alot blockier and squarer than these guys.

A White Scars army is a brave choice, but I think you've definately got the skills to pull it off. I look forward to seeing your all plastic 'counts as' Sammael. I'm sure with a little jiggery pokery he could also 'count as' Korsarro Khan on Moondrakken.

This looks grand mate, to be honest I think it looks better than the original Epidemius banners. The use of the pins just finishes it off perfectly.

Its interesting to see how well household cleaners work for stripping paint. I use brake fluid currently as its easy to get hold off and effective, if a little unfriendly to skin and the environment. I know that Nitro-Mors is excellent for metals but that stuff eats plastic for breakfast. I'll have to try some household cleaners next as Simple Green et al. aren't readily available in the UK.

Very cool, those Pistolier legs work really well with the layered and segmented armour of the Cadians.

Damn, I was hoping you might have an idea for it...obviously they'll be converted to represent followers of the different powers, but I do agree that something to differentiate between the factions might be an idea. Its just how to do it.

I was thinking that switching out the colours would be an easy solution for troopers dedicated to the different powers.

However it wouldn't work on Death Guard at all, and I would like to include some in my army, I think it would work with the other Cult Troops (Thousand Sons et al.) but not the Death Guard.

Not sure how to work around that. What'd you recommend for the variety between the powers, and incorporating Death Guard?

Currently 18th century Europe, but I'm wanting to specialise in Byzantium later on, and hopefully one day lecture on it. Though to do that I'm going to ideally need Latin and Ancient Greek as most of their writings were done in Greek, and anything Westerners wrote on them was in Latin...its gonna be hard work but well worth what I've get my PhD in five or six years time.

Disqus sends e mails too, with all the same things in it as a blogger one. See if you don't move to Disqus soon you'll be a rebel for not having, and that in itself will exponentially magnify your coolness.

All I know about it really is that everyone seems to use it, and it does seem alot more streamlined and easier to use once its installed than the standard Blogger comment system.
