When the social networking stuff (facebook, twitter, etc) becomes a distraction from you achieving your goals rather than a tool enabling greater progress...cut it free.  Same with drama.  Pipe it to null.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Time is way too precious to burn it on stuff that doesn't feed your objectives or the ones you care about. And in my opinion there is never an important enough reason to use the collective power of everyone in the country (government) to take away my property and give it to someone else because someone other than me says they need it more than I do.  It happens, but I don't agree with it.
