It was such a joyous moment when you find the newest EGM in your mailbox.

I like the internet for news and videos, but when it comes to more analytical pieces, you find that in the magazines.

Question for everybody, What magazine will you buy now that EGM has passed on?
I'll probably get the Official Xbox Magazine. I've never been a fan of Game Informer just because I don't care for how it is always pushed on me at Gamestop.

Re: Sore Thumbs

Metaphors are fun.

I was rolling once they started saying their names.

Re: Sore Thumbs

I miss the Batman and Robin dot com game.

Re: Goodbye EGM

I was devastated by the news of 1up and I don't even work there. Legos
2. the 3 3/4 in' G.I.Joe toys
you will like this game.

Let me explain.
1st. The Lego games are fun, but instead of capitalizing on what makes Legos great (building stuff) they went with a beat'em up style. Banjo is what the Lego games should be. The thing that concerned me with this game was that it was going to focus to much on building and not enough on "platforming." To tell you the truth, the building part is probably my aspect. Every challenge you face you have the choice to use blueprints and make a prefabricated vehicle, but I find myself wanting to custom create my own. There is a lot of fun in building, which makes me wish the Lego games had more substance. As you find new stuff you go back and smoke your old times. I see a lot of replay. I don't think I will ever get to play multiplayer. I have 70 friends on my friends list and have never seen anyone play this.

Now, 2nd. I believe that the 3 3/4 in' GIJoes are the greatest toys ever made. I realize that there is a generation gap here, so let me paint a picture. The G.I.Joe toys were held together buy a rubber-band inside and were very articulate. As a result of their size, the vehicles and play-sets were intricate and complex, especially to todays standards. Just google the U.S.S. Flagg or the Cobra Dome. There were places to put numerous joes and hidden compartments everywhere. So I recently unlocked these retractible wings and a detaching mechanism in the game. I then precede to make this tank type car what has a detachable cockpit. Once I eject the cockpit, I release the wings and I have this little get away plane. This is very G.I.Joe.

This game reminds me very much of my childhood. It really is a shame that Microsoft put it up against Gears 2. Talk about cannibalism.

Re: GamePro in my home

Thats Shoe's main squeeze?
