Months? Pshaw, that's practically no time at all. ;) I've been waiting decades and especially for the last two years since they announced the casting of David Tennant and Michael Sheen. I may have spent an entire hour dancing around my house when I heard it ;)

I also agree that I don't care how they're dressed. It's been a revelation how many people have come out of the woodwork as Good Omens fans. There's not that many in my neck of the woods.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who is extraordinarily excited for this Good Omens adaptation. I may or may not have spent an entire evening dancing around my house when the Crowley and Aziraphale casting was announced. (Also, does your screen name announce your love for all things Pratchett ;) )

I did competitive ballroom dance for years and it is a very pricey activity, especially if you do pro/am. You have your lessons which are probably more like $60-$80 a pop. If you want to practice your routines with your partner (your instructor) you have to pay the lesson price.

Then there are the pro/am competitions. You pay a fee for every event you enter (~$20-$40) and you can enter A TON of events (single dances, different age groups, multi-dances etc). On top of it you have to pay an instructor fee. It not unheard of for a competition entry to cost over $2000. Add on that travel/hotel costs if it's not at home.

Dance shoes, costumes (which can be REALLY expensive), having hair and makeup professionally done.

I made it affordable to me though by only doing amateur. Amateur competitions I did were a flat fee (~$100-$150 per person) to compete in a number of events. My partner and I split lesson costs and we'd only need a place to practice. Unfortunately, I do not currently have an amateur partner so I haven't been dancing much due to the exorbitant costs of pro/am.

I was wondering about Media's outfit (and what she was referencing since every other appearance referenced something) until I heard her actually speak lyrics to "Easter Parade." Then it hit me like a ton of bricks and I couldn't "un-hear" her channeling Judy Garland. Had to look up a photo of the movie to see how on point they were (very) and the faceless dudes were dressed pretty much exactly as Fred Astaire.

I am SO in for this. I was skeptical at first because I had gotten my hopes dashed when the deal attached to HBO years ago fell through, but this looks amazing. Pretty much every casting announcement, teaser photo and trailer has just made me happier and happier.

At first I thought the whole propeller set up was part of some outlandish hat and wondered how she didn't totally strain her neck keeping it upright.

Then it made my eye twitch since as an amateur photographer I have heard the "watch out for things in the background protruding from your subject's head" umpty-million times and been annoyed when a perfectly good portrait is ruined by a random branch at just the wrong spot). :)

As someone who is currently wearing earrings made from a pair of 20-sided dice (yes I'm a D&D nerd), I stand behind the idea of them. Unfortunately there's something off about the proportions. I think they're too big. They look cute in the photo of them alone, but put them on a person and they look clunky. Is it the sheer size of them?
