The Office is actually a very dark comedy. I think there was supposed to be this undertone of despair to Pam's decision to give up her passion for a dead-end job that she hates. How many people do you see quit their boring office jobs and become successful artists? It's very realistic, if depressing. That's what's so great about the Office. There are some neat little happy endings to subplots, but from a larger perspective, they're all trapped in this bland, corporate life.

What do you think of that show Xavier? It's a little too surreal and manic for me, but I like how it has no meaning to speak of and creates a feeling of connectivity and consistency while only focusing on one premise for a few minutes at a time.

From what I heard, the DP was being very unprofessional, adjusting the lights in the middle of an intense scene, which can be distracting. If acting out at a dumb DP can make his performance better, I'm all for it.

That is a cheap tactic, but it does seem like the guy was innocent and didn't deserve to be arrested, certainly not tasered.

Oh mos def Israel isn't totally innocent. But the point is, Hamas is intentionally going after innocent civilians while Israel does all that they can to avoid it. Hamas intentionally hides Qassams in homes, hospitals, mosques, etc, so ISael will either get bombed or be made to look like the bad guy. What the news won't tell you is that hours before an air raid is scheduled to begin, Isaeli planes drop pamhplets on the targets warning people to evacuate.

They filmed that in my mall. It's good marketing to film in some small town no one's ever heard of, because then everyone there is going to go see it since it's the most exciting thing that happened to your town since it was mentioned in a famous Revolutionary War poem 200 years ago.
