And perhaps worse than any of the above reasons is someone lacking so much confidence they are not comfortable with themselves and compensate by trying to be someone they are not and of course they can't pull it off.

Re: http://www.rippdemup.com/2010/01/black-women-whose-fault-is-it-that-you.html

Women and men are all taught through the media and by our parents that happiness is found through traditional life of marrying young (before 30), kids and a career . This is a 20th century solution for a 21st century/post-Huxable challenge

In the 21st century dating/marriage world, it is going to be the non-traditional women who are going to be most happy. I think women have known this since the 60s, but it seems like each generation of women have to up their game on this.

In the 21st century, it is the right-brained, confident, creative and dominate women who will lead. Don't be afraid to be different. Adapt and do what ever you can do to be happy.

Re: The 2nd Time Around

If it were the case that the first relationship simply didn't work out from one of us not having our life together or not in the right stage and now we are in a position to get back together, I would refuse getting back together. If it didn't work out the first time, I don't want to take the chance to see if it would someone workout the second time. Even if I still love her both in the heart and passionately, I wouldn't do it. It just doesn't sound like it would be a healthy relationship. And I only get in healthy relationships at this point in my life.

Re: The 2nd Time Around

If it was just a dating relationship both the first and second time around then absolutely yes I would go another dating round with her.

But if were a relationship the first time around and then wanting to get back together the second time around, then absolutely no. I will act maturely in the break-up, be friends and respect you and go out of my way to see how you and your family are doing every now and then after the break-up. But there is no way I can get back together with you. A special bond was broken, there is lack of respect for what I had to offer and I would think how much does she really like me if she said no the first time.

The contradiction to this is that if I were married and my wife cheated, I would be willing to sit down and be open to seeing what could be done to get back together and what really caused the cheating.

Re: Fail Friday: Chris Brown and his Sporty Blue Bowtie

lmao @ "Charlie Brown's gay black cousin."

Completely agree that Chris Brown's video apology from a few weeks ago seemed insincere. It can't come from the heart when reading a dam script!!!!

We may have to agree to disagree on this one or perhaps I am misunderstanding you: "If a woman takes the liberty and beats up on a man, he has the right to defend himself and vice versa." <== I completely disagree with this. Under no circumstance should a man ever hit a woman. Just shouldn't happen. I don't care if the woman gets emotional every now and then and hits the man or throws things at him, it is not an excuse do the same thing.

Re: Have You Ever Engaged In Secret Sex?

Physically or personality-wise not attracted to the person but the sex is so good you can't so no or you want the sex so bad and you can't say no? I haven't had that kind of sex yet. Just not my thing. Everyone is different. Still laughing at what you said about Lil Wayne.

Re: Love and Sexy Music

Keith Sweat far and above anyone else. Push repeat and rotate it all night. Listening to his greatest hits CD anytime brings back great memories but has to come with a warning label because I have trouble concentrating when played. Raheem DeVaughn, Dwele and Maxwell for more modern artists. I want to try something harder for my next compilation such as Nas, Jay-Z and Jadakiss. I think the hard beat would be great.

Re: Why Do Men Marry Loco Bitches?

What a crazy story!!!!! All you can do is shake your head and laugh.

I believe the more dysfunctional a person is, the easier it is to get into a relationship because there are more dysfunctional people on this earth than not.

Re: The Relationship Killer

If you want different results, you have to do things differently.
