Interesting thoughts. Writing is probably different then designing patterns, but I notice I am most creative and in tune with my stories after I do yoga and my energy centers have been cleared and centered. I feel it opens me up to that other space so wonderfully. In fact I don't like to work on my novel until I've completed my yoga practice for the day because I need that inner stillness to allow the creativity to shine through. It feels so much clearer and cleaner when it comes out.

Also yoga feels like creative energy movement to me. The two are not mutually exclusive in my mind.

However I think everyone is unique. :-) I'm glad you're feeling so creative now!
