I'm not sure that Ohio State would think that you are doing them a favor by putting them on a bus to travel almost 8 hours to Allentown (Columbus to Allentown is 450 miles). I'm reasonably sure if they wind up there, they will fly in.

You kind of missed the fact that both Denis Smirnov and Nikita Pavlychev played junior hockey for Wilkes-Barre. If you are going to mention the future potential for Pavlychev playing in Wilkes-Barre, I would have thought you would havealso brought up how he already has.

Don't understand Minnesota-Duluth to Providence. Why not send PSU to Providence (same distance as Cincy) and put Duluth in much closer Cincinnati?

Unfortunately Paula you are way off when it comes to Penn State needing to win the B10 tournament to get a bid to the NCAAs. In fact, they don't even need to win both games from Michigan this weekend. A split in Ann Arbor puts them right back into the thick of things in the Pairwise rankings. By my calculations, they just need to take two out of three games with Michigan (I'm assuming they will meet in the BTT) and that should be enough for an at-large bid.

Penn State does not debut on November 17th. Their first game will be on the 14th when Penn State great Dan Earl makes his debut appearance as a head coach when VMI comes to town. PSU will be honoring Dan that day ,so I hope lots of Central PA fans come out to welcome Dan back to Happy Valley.

Your remark about seeing your students at football press conferences hit home. We wound up with four of your current Comm 170 students on our show, www.GoonShowPSU.com, Thursday night (they were all scheduled separately and we weren't aware of the common connection until they showed up). The news crowd is most definitely getting younger.

This is nothing new for TiVo users. I've been watching Rev3 shows on my TV for years. And while I am on the subject, why is it that no one seems to give TiVo any mention when discussing GoogleTV, Roku, Boxee Box, etc. As far as I'm concerned, they are all late to the internet on your TV party. My TiVo Premiere provides me access to NetFlix, Blockbuster, YouTube, videocasters like Rev3 or the TWIT Network, and tons of others. Yet I rarely see TiVo mentioned wnen discussing internet TV options.

It's a crying shame the way that people jump on these young kids before all the facts are in. As the facts trickle in on this case, it's becoming more and more apparent that the screw-up was Penn State's.

You owe the kid a HUGE apology.
