Haha. You know I thought I was going to lose it in the middle of the last German winter (when I wasn't pregnant and had a personal furnace going). This year, surprisingly, I've really enjoyed all the snow. Still totally envious of your 74˚ though.

Glad to hear you had a great time and a safe trip visiting family. I'm especially happy to hear a good report about a 9-hour plane ride with an almost 2 year old (can you believe it?!?)!!! Let's hope ours go as smoothly.

For the longest time I left some of Chase's 12-month pants in her drawer because she still fit in them (most of her clothes at the time were 12-18 and a bit of 18-24 months), but suddenly about two months ago all those pants became capris overnight. It was funny to see how her body grew in sections. Have fun on your trip. I'm not sure I would recognize Alayna in anything but sundresses and tank tops!

Our formula was Luvs during the day and Huggies at night, and to be honest I don't know why we veered from it. I loved Pamper Swaddlers but could not stand the smell of the material they used once Chase graduated to a bigger size. Where we live, the commissary doesn't carry a great variety of anything, including diapers, but I was hoping to see Huggie Overnites in size 4 eventually. So far Luvs have been more leaky than not for night time and I've been changing her crib sheets pretty much everyday this week. If there's any indication, Landstuhl only uses Huggies in their L&D. Sorry I'm not much help.

I really love all the pictures and particularly of her in the dog dish holder in the previous post. Aren't they just wild at this age? I feel like I just finished running a marathon every single night after putting Chase to bed.

I have yet to try peanut butter with Chase because she's had known food allergy, but that definitely looks like a fun snack! I can't believe 17 months have already flown by, can you?!?

It's good to know that this obsession is shared by other 16 month olds as well. Chase decided early on after numerous tasting that she didn't like the taste of dog food so much, but the water bowl was a total different story. Two big dogs, two big water bowls inside the house. It's like a water park in my house on a bad day.

Looks like you guys are having a great time! I'm so going to live vicariously though you now that the horrid German winter is quickly approaching.

Oh, no, I don't think it was there. Landstuhl playgroup, I suspect. I know
we take that risk when we go to those things, but it's just get so
frustrating when my choices are just staying safely protected in our mostly
clean house and be utterly bored or go have fun and get sick again. Sigh.
I'm determined to do something fun this weekend. Hope yours a great one,
