I've strugled with under eating disorders, and they were brought on by pain. It would have been much worse if my parents went to jail, for my emotional and physical health. There was absolutely NOTHING his mother could have done. Eating disorders are not about food, at all. They are about how you feel. His mother had no control in the situation, and neither did he. He couldnt help that his brain had an embalance (As mine did) and neither did his mother.
