We're working on some projects aiming to promote entrepreneurship in MENA region.
I'm convinced that a Silicon Valley style wont work here. So, we're on a custom tailed one suiting both MENA needs and meeting the international demands, creating other success stories from the region to look at.

And that's when I take it out on Arab tweeples for not managing one successful Trending topic. See "Trending topics are a lot like fishing. Sometimes you get a bite and sometimes you don't. I've had my share of unsuccessful attempts." First with #ArabicFriday (Arabic: الجمعةبالعربية), and recently with #RamadanKareem as Trending topics.

Now we all know that Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs basically determines the organizational behaviour of company individuals. Using it to determines the psychological reasons behind Twittering was unexpectedly clever of you. I really enjoyed reading your piece. I thought it was cool how you included both the non-personal and personal aspects of Twittering.

I think neither stereotypes nor pricing are the reasons behind software piracy in MENA region. The main reasons are that we lack the culture of copyrighted content and the prosecution system to carry out appropriate legal actions regarding such type of criminal activities. Therefore, ME markets might not be the best to be targeted by major video game manufacturers.

Well, you have a point here. I discussed the effect of monetize with Amer over the phone 2 month ago. The idea of creating goods under single brand might be appealing for certain type of people (users). It might be a good way to retain customers but not that good for gaining new ones.

As for the Bacon soap its about creating controversy in order to get buzz and publicity running rampant for its brand.

As for me( as a user), I'm not really into bacon soap, but I might end-up buying one, if they have it in much appealing flavour.

Anyway, I totally agree with you guys regarding Microsoft's outdated techniques. And unlike playing it the old way (Microsoft), success online makes you hungry for more so to keep up with such demand we should play it the Google way. Just release of a controversial product and let it be handle by tech-savvies and marketing gurus. Without question, word of mouth advertising is absolutely and indisputably the best form of advertising that has ever existed.
