And for what reason? Israel is cited as having a stash of nuclear-related bombs. Does anyone besides me have sincere doubts about the North Korean move? Like, oh maybe building a second development station somewhere out of site while all of the major 'Leaders' are concentrated on the movements near the 'tower in the open'. After all the stubbornness, delay tactics, refusal to meet in talks, etc., N. Korea seems to have bent over without much of a shove.

We're low on soldiers. Recruitment is a huge problem. The eligible Americans have seen what happens to the soldiers in this 'war' . And they've witnessed the lack of fulfillment of all of those recruiters' promises when they are finally home. (Or are they?). If we have yet another front in the Middle East, I fear for the reinstatment of the draft.

This is going to have an interesting impact on our Presidental Election.

If BushCheney do go ahead with any plans to move this counter-terrorist operation to yet another front, our economy is going to go flatter (hard to believe it can get there, but it stil has plenty of room to fall). The last poll I saw had our citizens solidly against any widening of the military action field. This leaves us with McCain (miniMe Bush with Respect) and business as usual while all of the budget gets eaten up by a war we cannot win.

Or Obama. If this happens it may give his campaign a boost or, on the other hand, blow up in his face. The naysayers will bring his lack of experience back into the limelights. The majority of Americans who want out of this Bush created mess will look at Obama as our best chance to get this done. And fixing our economy is a natural to follow when we're done throwing money into the fire. Keep in mind the baby-boomers who are getting ready to retire and have been watching their mutual funds take nosedives as our stocks fall. This is a large voting bloc.

I sincerely believe BushCheney should be arrested for war crimes. If we were on the outside looking in (our specialty), our government would have stepped in by now to stop the Geneva Convention violations. And if we weren't a county so full of apathy, we'd have removed these two figures long ago when they ripped apart our Constitution and jigsawed it back together to fit their needs.

Whatever is to happen between now and January, one thing is known. The Iran administration will be kept well informed if they read the same news sites we do.
