Same Seder on his Majority Report podcast played Morning Joke's 2016 lengthy rant about what a weak, spinless fool without an ounce of Ted Cruz had been for supporting Diaper Don after Fat Donnie had called Ted's wife ugly & saying Ted's dad was involved in the assassination of JFK. Joke really was particularly upset over Trump insulting Ted's wife, saying, "if somebody talked like that about my wife, it would be GAME OVER." I guess Morning Joke forgot about mango Mussolini talking about Mika showing up at Mar a Lard-ass after a bad facelift with blood leaking down her face. He called Mika "disgusting".

The judge just kicked the can down the road for another week. Apparently the judge needs time to come up with some BS reason for Don the Con to walk, I mean, for the judge to explain how letting Trump go serves justice.

Anyone who thinks the white supremacist bigots Tom Homan & Stephen Miller appointed by Diaper Don see a going to let anyone with brown skin other than multimillionaires come into the country is seriously stupid. Homan seriously said the way to avoid family separation is to deport entire families if even one family member is undocumented. I guess Matteo didn't hear Dtephen Miller's MSG speech, where he said 'America is for Americans & Americans only'.. Miller doesn't want to juist deport the undocumented, he wants to "de-naturalize" non-whites. That means stripping immigrants who hsve followed all the rules and gone through the 10-20 year process to become US citizens, of their hard-earned citizenship. Miller is a white nationalist, a group that used to be known as the American Nazi Party.

It's especially galling is most MAGAs didn't bother to "do their research" until AFTER they voted. Immediately after the election, two most frequent searches on Google were "How do Tariffs work" & "Can I Change My Voter". Now we all will have to live with the consequences of their stupidity.

But that's just the beginning. Stephen Miller - the pustule of bigotry & hate - not just talk of the coming mass deportations. He is also talking about mass "de-naturalation". That means all the people who have earned their US citizenship can be stripped of their status as a US citizen and deported to their country of origin. That can already happen to immigrants who commit crimes. So what will be the criteria for mass de-naturalizations, other than having dark skin & being overheard speaking any language other than English?

When I was in high school, a teacher who was a child in Germany during WWII. The town where he lived was bombed repeatedly, and as a result, he still jumped under the nearest piece of furniture or into a closet if one is nearby. He also told us German soldiers were "deporting" Jews and any non-Germans, they would take any person who merely 'looked' Jewish or foreign. The official government line was to tell people in those boxcars were being deported. Those who didn't live near the labor and death camps didn't know they existed. It's not like they could jump on Facebook. And traditional forms of communication were restricted.

Trump has said large encampments will be built along the border to house the 11,000,000 he has promised to deport. A camp where a certain ethnicity are rounded up and kept, or "concentrated" in one space. There's a different nsme for those places, but I can't recall. Maybe one of you can help me out?

States run their elections, and therefore decide what is and isn't acceptable forms of ID. In Texas, a Texas gun permit is acceptable, but a student ID with a photo and all the same information. Several red state legislatures are working to make it illegal for college students from other states to vote in state, even if they are living there full time, requiring them to vote absentee from their home state.

A few years back my octogenarian mother applied to renew her drivers license. She no longer drove, had no car, and was already living in assisted living; but it had been the form of ID she had relied on throughout her adult life. But mom had been born at home which at that time had been miles from the nearest hospital, so she didn't have a birth certificate, just a handwritten record the doctor had submitted when he came to check 2 days after she was born. It of course was in the days before computers. It took 18 months & just over $200 to track down the documents the state required and receive her new license. Mom was white. Even more black citizens who born throughout the pre-digital, segregated southern states have been facing an even larger mountains of bureaucracy.

These things will continue to be on the list of reich-wing solutions looking for a problem unless & until we federalize elections.

I first heard of LeBron James when he started getting recognized as a high school sensation destined for a stellar career. Ironically, it was an NPR audio report focusing how naive teens with potential in major-league sports are often taken advantage of with free gifts like cars & drawn away from a 'real' college degree. It's ironic because LeBron has demonstrated he is anything but naive. I don't follow pro sports, but when I hear Mr James' name and it isn't about his performance on the court, it's about his kindness, generosity & his activism with good causes. He's very smart & has apparently avoided most of the pitfalls of success & fame. I hope his endorsement will help influence the young male voters who have trouble voting for a woman for President.
