If I'm wrong, then so is every other sport you can think of. Get rid of all playoffs to determine a true Champion. And like it or not, the NCAA is moving closer and closer to a playoff system in College Football, due to the fact that the BCS is completely stupid.

Honestly, I could really care less about college football or sports in general anymore. The athletic world needs a major overhaul before I became interested again. It's all garbage.

What's absurd are the ideas that the US leaving Afghanistan would be the end of hostilities from the Taliban and who they associate with; that we cannot somehow address problems at home while addressing problems abroad, and that we can afford the 4 year long Obama administration spending spree, but "$15 billion per month the war costs" is too expensive.

Sorry comrade, I don't agree with your premise that playoffs would be "forced" on anyone. On the contrary, college football is demanding a National Championship decide a National Champion. The discussion is about the best way to determine a National Champion, and the BCS is a terrible way to do it (as evidenced by the yearly tweaking of said system), and playoffs have proven over and over again that it's the best format in order to do so.

BTW, this isn't a discussion about "the most PERFECT" format or system. It's a discussion about "the BEST" format or system.

LOL!! Hogwash. You either have to win a conference championship or earn a wildcard berth, or do SOMETHING better than other teams to earn a spot in a playoff. Nice try, though.

Not exactly. The current system is based on two conferences having more leverage than anyone else and raking in as much cash as possible. Plus, insisting that there are only 6 "worthy" conferences. Again, nice try.
