Then why be upset about losing to Kentucky at CoRUPPt Arena with 3 freshman starters and two walk-ons starting. The team never gave up till the last second they played with passion and hustle and thats all i ask of them this year not wins and losses but show me they want to play for Indiana and respect the coach and its fans by playing hard for them every game. If it wasnt for Kentucky start 11-13 this may have been close people they never stopped trying and they are going to improve.

Re: Jackson and McAlarney lead ND past IU, 88-50

I was a huge supporter of Tom Pritchard and become more impressed everytime i see him........he has excellent post moves and just needs to put that touch on his shot and he will be a very good effecient player.

I love the fact the team never quit trying and TC coached the whole game, very fun game to watch makes me more excited to think about the future of Indiana in 2-3 years the team will be loaded with talent and will be a fun team to watch.

Hoosier basketball is back

Re: Tom Crean talks 2009 recruiting class

VERY EXCITING

Re: All-Big Ten Preview: Raymar Morgan

Im gonna say Michigan State wins the big ten this year with lucas and roe in the backcourt and morgan in the front court they are going to be a very tough team i do think that Manny Harris will win Big Ten POY and then bolt to the NBA he is very talented and if he reaches his potential will be a helluva player

Re: And finally, they’ve all surfaced, let’s move on

The thing of it is dumb ass is the fact that he already got busted for it once, came to IU said he wasn't going to do it again and what happened, he did it again. and its not only the phone calls its the kids he brought in, great ball players but not student 19 f's were recorded 19!! that is completely unacceptable. Sampson was a great coach that made a mistake all be it a very minor thing to me but he still did it and did it twice. that is why the beef and the fact he doesnt have the balls to talk about it.

Re: Taber and Crean address the media in Chicago

Corperryale Harris

Re: Gordon impressive for Clippers in preseason

Actually it goes to show he was playing against FC Barcelona........If there was no defense in the NBA then wouldnt JJ Reddik be able to what ever he wants........just goes to show people who do not watch the NBA don't need to be commenting on this just my opinion when it gets down to it EJ will average prolly around 12 points when he starts playing against NBA players instead of people from Barcelona and people trying to make the cut to get on a team they are playing for.

Re: Who’s your starting five?

PG-Dumes
SG-Creek
SF-Watford
PF-Capobianco
C-Pritchard

Oh wait its not 2009 yet :-D

Re: Crean’s latest target: 2010’s Aaron Cosby

Braswell would be such a good pick up if we do get him I would suspect that a player like Malik Story would probably transfer his playing time would be shot after this year and the idea of Rivers walking on is nice but i dont think literal......this whole thing could come out to be pretty interesting with Braswell we would have what 5 or 6 legit big man with Tijan being the exception and stellar wing and point guard play wow the immediate future is very bright

Re: Crean’s latest target: 2010’s Aaron Cosby

So first you want them to not sign Cosby to get another forward and then you say you want them to use it for Maquis Teague what do you want? He long, athletic, can shoot, ify on ball handling but overall if he commits its a great pickup for 2009 and gives us Hoosier fans something to look forward to. Just one question would he play SF or PF if he plays SF I wonder how Nick Williams will like him taking his spot or if Watford would sit the bench......either way this provides more depth to an already stellar 2009 class and really makes me happy that TC is recruiting not only for the future but to win now as well.

Re: A look at St. Anthony’s guard Dominic Cheek

What do we have a better ball handling but not as strong eric gordon on our hands here

Re: A look at St. Anthony’s guard Dominic Cheek

He looks great really hope all this intrigue he seems to have for Indiana actually pans out and he signs up for the ride. He doesnt seem like he would be a 1 and done so that would really help out, and would make our team very athletic and skilled at the guard positions. Some of you may have a concern for this area in the post but we still have Pritchard who is a beast down low, Jobe looks like he has a phenominal basketball body and I think he will pan out well at IU and we still have Capo and Elston coming next year so our post presence will be just fine, not including any walkons. Devan Dumes is going to be a good PG and will help VJ3 get in shape and mold him into a PG and will help our team alot. If this guy commits the 09-10 season could be a lot better then what some of us like to think.

PG-Dumes
SG-Cheek
SF-Williams
PF-Capobianco
C-Pritcard

With a stellar bench crew including Elston, Rivers, Creek, Hulls, VJ3 could be a wonderful year for Indiana basketball.......i would personally rather have them go for the big man Derrrick Favors that dude is a monster....kind of like Amare Stoudemire. I could settle for a wonderful SG in Cheek though.

Re: ITH Super Happy Fun Time Top 10 List: Calbert Cheaney

How about we do a Kelvin Sampson roast

Re: ITH Super Happy Fun Time Top 10 List: Isiah Thomas

i said that lol reread my post "but at least he can say he won 2 championships in the best era ever in the NBA" haha

Re: ITH Super Happy Fun Time Top 10 List: Isiah Thomas

You may not like his personality as an NBA player but he is easily one of the most underrated players in NBA history they're have not been to many players that have been able to do what he has done on the court while in the NBA sure he didnt win many championships but its hard to win against teams with a minimum of 3 hall of famers in the lakers and celtics but at least he can say he won 2 championships in the best era ever in the NBA scored 40 points or whatever in a single half on a severly sprained ankle in the playoffs this guy was incredible im to young to remember him at IU im only 19 but i have seen this guy play NBA games and he was incredible very much like what chris paul will end up being Zeke is easily my favorite Hoosier of all time and Tom Coverdale is ina close second place
