Well i hate to be the bearer of bad news but it sounds like a classic case of a girl using a boy for prom. honestly man i would say that she had such a great time with you and was so happy that she went that she got caught up in the moment and hooked up with you... but don't get down on your self, there are other girls out there for everyone. everyone wants to hook up with someone after prom (its an after prom ritual, so did she and you were the best option) . this is tough... there is obviously something other than her just going to college. or it is could be that its going to be to hard to get into a good relationship and then leave. evaluate the type of person she is (could she like someone else, or not like you, find you to be annoying in a way, or is it truely she likes you or maybe to much, and she doenst want to have to leave soon)

most likely the problem is that she loved being friends with you and things were great but its know that love or lust can ruin friendships. she probably misses being friends or something changed and you became a different persom then she expected when you dated.

talk to her aske her to just go back as friends. then if the oppertunity comes to be more then friends then thats good, go with it. i wouldnt suggest a serious relationship with only 3 months till college cause you can tell she wont want a distance relationship cause she broke up with the reason that shes going to college
