This is a gorgeous post!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I joke that being a 'raw foodist' made me gain 50 lbs.!  I felt so limited and deprived as a 'raw foodist' that if I ate some cooked spinach I would consider myself a failure.  Then I would try to pack in all the 'off limits' foods for the rest of the day because I knew I would never ever be able to have them again for as long as I was alive!  So, essentially the term 'raw foodist' gained me 50 lbs.!!   :)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I think it's about abundance and feeling unlimited in our possibilities, and then making the best, most conscious choice we can in the moment.  Like you said...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;After all, love is truly what sustains us, isn't it?  These days I strive to eat food that has been loved.  Most of the time that's organic raw food.  Sometimes it's moms lasagna! :-)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Thank you for this post.
