Thanks, Now I know why my Dad, who worked in the aircraft plants during the first part of the war and fought in the last 1/3 of it, had the Hoser view of Fleet that he did.

You are mistaken. Street lights provide safety for pedestrian vs vehichular traffic. Has nothing to do with your personal safety. If that were the case, the lights would be hanging over the sidewalks and not the street. In fact street lighting provides no personal safety.

Since they both seem to have the same financial and social impact on the communities they inhabit, other than their legal status, can someone tell me the difference between a Wal-Mart employee and the workers that pick produce in the fields? .

If it's not Wal-Mart laughing all the way to the Bank at the expense of everyone else, it's the corporate farmers.

I still use both platforms only because I don't have a choice. However, if I had my way, I'd go completely Mac. Maybe a bit more expensive, but the quality is always there, and besides, how much is one's time worth when having to deal with infected PCs...?
