For the record, when I was alive, I didn't use a Mac, I used a PC, because all I did was write stuff, do e-mail, search the internet using Google (I used Firefox as my browser, after ditching Netscape), and whack off to porn. As long as the hardware was robust and I didn't try to make Windows walk and chew gum at the same time it was cool. I'm actually very neutral about the whole Mac vs PC thing. I had been using computers for a very long time, once they became reasonably affordable tools. I had an Apple II for a real long time, until I needed something that could surf the internet, which was not very exciting then, just a punch of pages with lists and the occasional naked photo that took fifteen minutes to download. I think I got a Leading Edge first, which proved to be a Korean piece of garbage then got a Gateway, but I hated all the fucking AOL pop ups and finally settled on an IBM, which gave me no trouble, after that, the problems, if any, was always the OS. But I had a tech guy who could always fix that shit, as long as I all my files and we had back-ups. Back-ups. Can't stress that enough. Never bothered with Vista, happy with XP for time being and my tech guy said there was no need.He had been hinting broadly we should me over to Ubuntu but at that time, it was like Ubuntu? What the fuck is that? Get outta' here!!!

The reason it blew up was our genius hacker tried installing a pirate version of Zune OS onto an iTouch so he show off all over the internet how he pwned Apple - but we all know what happens when you even try to install anything that isn't remotely Unix (which is why some Linuxtards still try to make iPod/iTouch work with their penguin boxes) on current Apple line - it doesn't brick, it self-destructs and wipes out the offending files.
