Just keep it fun and make sure they're tired by the end (that keeps the parents happy). My kids are always big on "kick the coach". I stand/kneel inside the goal and let them take turns kicking it at me. They always love it!

Honestly, the kids are the least of your trouble. You always have one or two overly zealous parents. They think that their kid should play like Beckham....It's a fair amount of politics. But that shouldn't be a problem for you right?

Just make sure the kids have fun. And yourself. That's the only important part of it in this age bracket. If you need or want any practice routines/drills that work good for this age bracket, just let me know.

Re: Quote Of The Day

The best health care system in the world? I beg to differ Mr. Huckabee....

I have very good insurance. I cannot personally complain. But I have far too many friends and family that do not and I see them struggle with health care for themselves and their children. I don't make the claim that my beloved Democratic party has the perfect solution to this, but at least they're hanging it out there and trying. Admitting that the system is completely screwed up is the first step to fixing it.

My question is this - if the Canadians can figure it out, why can't we? Is it employers not willing to take a hit on costs? Is it the insurance conglomerates charging ridiculously overpriced policies? Is it doctors having a highly overinflated sense of self value? No, it's all of the above. Having some form of public option creates competition, which is always valuable to the consumer.

The issue of so many American adults not having health insurance can be muddy waters for a number of reasons. Sometimes it's by choice or ignorance. Sometimes it's not affordable. Sometimes it's simply not offered. The one thing that gets to me is the children. No child should go without reasonable health care. As a parent, it breaks my heart every time I read one of these articles about a child dying when they quite possibly could've been fine with treatment. Whatever we end up doing, this should be required as a bare minimum.

Re: Them There's Fightin' Words

Kinky is a really cool guy. Knows nothin' about poloitics though. That could be good or bad depending on your point of view. But go spend a couple of days down in Austin and you'll see him around. I don't think he's ever turned down a cup of coffee in the morning or a cold beverage in the evening with anyone who wanted to chat...

Re: Them There's Fightin' Words

LOL. Always has been, always will be. While Kay Bailey is a definite upgrade over him, I don't particularly care for her either. She does stand a good chance with the female voting here in the state. A lot of women who didn't like Ann Richards or her politics too terribly much voted her in back in the day. Thank goodness she did a pretty decent job so well as I remember (I was still a kid).

Of course there are other options as well. It could be a Kinky year in 2010....

http://www.kinkyfriedman.com/

Only in Texas....

Re: Quote Of The Day

Good Lord, you just gotta love her.....pretty much everything that comes outta her mouth sounds totally batsh!t crazy.....

Two thumbs up to the Census Bureau for their public comments that say "she's a total moron" without saying it all.

Re: Let's Have A Disqussion

Just taking it for a spin....
