Why would she even be charged? She was protecting her personal property.
Besides, when a person decides to lead a life of crime, they knowingly put themselves at risk of being shot and killed.
Let me be clear about this. I am not saying that someone who steals a car stereo or even a whole car deserves to be shot and killed. I am just saying that someone who engages in criminal activity puts themself at risk of bodily harm or death. By doing so, the criminal has waived their right to complain, sue or have charges brought against their 'attacker.'

Walker was wrong to leave the baby in the car, but what gives the 'grandmother' the right to detain anyone?
Isn't that a form of kidnapping?
If I'm in my vehicle and some guy tells me not to leave, that he's called the police, and he stands behind my vehicle and won't let me leave, can I spray him with pepper spray?
Just wondering.
I just don't understand how I have to hang out and wait when I have things to do if some nosy old biddy decides to go all ninja on my car.
Charges should be dropped, or they should charge the grandma with kidnapping by detaining or whatever the heck it is, to be fair.

OMG, with all of that booze in them, how were they even able to stand up? let alone walk to their car!
I will be interested in seeing how this ends up, though. Never heard of someone being arrested for the 'intent' to drive drunk.
Couldn't their defense simply be that they needed to get some things from their car before they called a cab, walked, hitchhiked, whatever, home?

I don't get it. Someone called 911 to say that two black men were breaking into a house. Police showed up at the house, and asked the black man there to prove it was his residence. What is wrong with that?? He Did break into his own house, so I don't see why its such a big deal. If I break into my house and a cop shows up, I'd just show him my id. Dude needs to shut up.
