Just one point of clarification, you stated "(FYI: BranchOut is Facebook’s version of LinkedIn)" but specifically from the FB app "This app was not developed by Facebook.".

Just a small point of clarification in this era of FB being overwhelmed and changing the privacy rules in inexplicable ways. I am not convinced that the vetting process for FB developers is solid.

Thanks for the thoughtful post. Be well

Re: Nominate Us For a R.E.C.S.S.!

Name.com has been very responsive to my Customer Service & Support needs for over a year now. Best luck to everyone who participates. Thanks for the post Azrael. Congrats on a great idea SM Cinema.

This is a topic that interests me a lot. Is there a list of "reputable colleges or universities" with film programs in the Philippines? What is the reputation of the Big Foot film school located on Mactan? If anyone knows a good resource for the state of filmmaking in the Philippines pleas post a link in this thread or drop me a PM (FB). Thanks.

Keep safe. Having seen you speak several times I am sure the audience walked away with a very valuable experience. You are a vital part of the Wordpress community and provide a lot of value to it. Why?

As a grown-up man I am no stranger to taking responsibility for my own life and my own actions. If my shoebox happens not to be the same size as the shoebox next door that is ok. If my list is totally unmanageable that is my choice. Maybe I do things a little differently. Remember the Apple 2002 slogan, "Think Different" - well, I for one do.

My list of Drupal CMS developers, companies, and groups is topped-out and Twitter can not argue that there are only 500 of them in the whole world. That would be absurd. @Scobleizer has topped out his lists of; tech-startups, web-hosting-and-cloud, iphone, my-favstar-fm-list, tech-pundits, and entrepreneurs. An incomplete list is not really that useful.

Seriously, we all know that Twitter is hosting lists as a way to crowdsource marketing data so what is the harm of larger lists? Are they going to charge higher fees to the list buyers because these are highly refined? It is not even a valid assumption because the 500 are just the first 500 that you add and not really the (marketing) best.

It is no secret that individuals maintain separate Twitter accounts given the almost universal option to monitor several accounts from most Twitter clients. For me separate accounts have been a workable way to manage affinity groups and various business entities. I thought that maybe the Lists function would make this practice obsolete. Not at a 500 @'s limit.

Re: Why The Twitter List Limit Should Stay @ 500

Just my two cents.

As a grown-up man I am no stranger to taking responsibility for my own life and my own actions. This is a realy valuable service that you provide.

For someone who has never been in that restaurant you have made it much easier to enter and take a chance eating in a new place. This is helpful to both the reader/potential customer and to the restaurant itself. Customers get exposed to a new dining option and the restaurant gets a honest and straightforward review from a great writer. Even if you were to find some fault the restaurant would be smart to address the shortcoming and invite you back to show off how responsive they are to the customer needs.

I will add Shomal Kebabs & Curries by Hossein to my must visit list when in the metro area. Thanks for the tip :-)

Keep-up the great work!

Be well.

Re: Life on a Pencil: My Paypal Limited Status Ordeal and Being Reinstated Again

Looking back on everything what do you think that you did that you could have done differently to speed the resolution of this matter?

It may be a good topic for a separate post to approach this topic as an expert now and give a 1, 2, 3, 4 step-by-step tutorial on how to handle this situation effectively for anyone who may experience it in the future.

I am glad that everything is finally resolved. There are others like true love, heartbreak, marriage, the birth of your first child, raising a family, health challenges, financial challenges, death in the family, etc. etc, etc. It is a given that you will be faced with these things and like any other skill you lear, you will learn how to cope and succeed in these times as well.

Do not approach these passages with a defeatist mindset:
defeatist |diˈfētist|
noun
a person who expects or is excessively ready to accept failure.
adjective
demonstrating expectation or acceptance of failure

There is an appropriate quote here:
Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right. -Henry Ford

My saying is, Stop focusing on what you are not able to do and focus instead on what you are able to do. Find your passion.

The way I try to live my life:
What I do today is important because I am exchanging a day of my life for it. -Unknown

Bryan, know that you are facing a portal in life, know that you will pass through that portal one way or another, and decide to pass through the portal confidently while forgiving yourself for any shortcomings.

Be well

Re: My Top 10 Tips for Good Leadership

This is a great topic and I can see that you have a good handle on the topic.

Politics aside, good leadership from good parenting on down through life is so important. A great introduction and review to a good tool.
