The markings on the barrel appear to be&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;“ B  K  58   22 CAL. SMOOTH BORE “ .  I think the B K refers to Jan 1963 date of manufacture, but I’m not sure what the 58 stands for.  Can you help with identification and rarity or refer me to someone who can?
