So they bought Flip back in 2009 for $590 for a company which they are ditching after just 2 years? Madness! I know Flip will have some valuable patents which may come in use for Cisco, but that isn't a great return on investment.

What Cisco would be best off doing now is to try and milk the Flip brand on to Smartphones like Kodak did on feature phones with their cameras. Cisco should look to partner with say Motorola to offer a "Phone with Flip Video". The emphasis would be on high quality video recording with say a Flip branded video editing app and social tools to share the video.

Would I be mad in saying that I'm not that interested in the Playstation games, but more what you can do with other emulators? Can you tell us what it is like using Yongzh's emulators? I want to use the Playstation controls as I ain't a fan of using the touch screen as a controller for games. Do they allow this?

Very nicely done. I have tried roms for my phone, but I find it hard to play if I don't have any physical buttons. This is where the Xperia Play will come in handy ;)

Every other Windows Phone has had no problem. Remember Samsung has a history of problems with its phones. Look at the GPS errors and lack of Android 2.2 updates for the Galaxy S.

Whilst I have bought their phones over the past few years, I don't like their 2011 range. Some of the Sony offerings look really innovative. They have put in things which have traditionally been limited to Symbian feature phones. I may just buy my first Sony phone this year. I'm stuck between the Arc and the Play.

If employees want union representation then they can pay for it themselves by paying subs. It shouldn't come out of taxpayers money.

I'm sure many others will agree with me that it is wrong that taxpayers should subsidize unions. Why does Tameside need so many reps and why is there a branch secretary.

I share your frustration. I do have a decent job and it pisses me off when you see your money being pissed up the wall. Someone needs to expose it.

There is also Virgin Mobile which is yet to do the iPhone. 3 did a blog post which seemed to indicate they had given up on the iPhone. I was reading somewhere they had trouble fitting in their brand and avoiding confusion with the free services that 3 offer such as Windows Live Messenger, Skype etc...

I am not taking West's side in this. And as I have said before, it would be interesting to see what John Taylor has to say in response. However, as you know Chris, getting "the opposition" to participate and comment on a blog is like pulling teeth.

What makes you think that? I try to cover various political parties. It is difficult though when you have 44 Labour Councillors, 10 Conservatives and 3 Independents.

I can't trace what people do on the site with DidTheyReadIt as it isn't a web analytics package, for that I use Sitemeter.
