Necessary for me since I operate a satellite office there. Ironic that Verizon's entire sales pitch is coverage area, but AT&T provides it where I need it.

Re: Pink Chicks on Parade at The Forum Shops!

Hi Susan. Many thanks for your comment. Our intent was certainly not to offend, but to call attention to a very serious disease and to raise money for the Pink Ribbon Project. The "buy a chick, save a life" slogan is to emphasize that for $125, the cost of the Pink Chick, you can pay for a mammogram for an uninsured or underinsured woman served by the Pink Ribbon Project. We hope to make this a successful annual fundraiser and welcome all ideas on how to make it better each year.
All the best,
Debbie

Re: “Need a Tagline? LOVE the wine labels. Shawn, our graphic designer, had a great experience working with Blake. Please wish him well from all of us at Talk. I had the personalized wine done for my family reunion next week. I can't wait to see everyone's reaction! Keep up the great work. You've got a happy and grateful customer in Talk.

Re: Things We Love 6/3

Hi Sandra -- so glad you commented. It's hard to believe right now, but you'll look back at this first summer after graduation as a fun adventure. Take time to enjoy yourself and relax at the beach. I'm glad you enjoy "Things We Love." Re the webinar, you can download the slides here on the blog. Check out yesterday's posting - it has link to download. We don't have a recording after all. Technical difficulties unfortunately. Next webinar will be recorded. Check back here early next week for schedule of upcoming webinars.

Re: Talk Social News daily 005 - Hunch review plus invites, bit.ly receives funding, skype, twitter replies are now mentions and we want your shirts.

Hi guys. And yes, I want a goat. I think I have plenty of room in the office to accommodate a goat and I'm sure Camden would welcome the company. And think of all the electricity we could save by never having to use the shredder again? We could just give all our documents to the goat.

Re: Stop Saying PR is Public Relations

I don't necessarily disagree with the essence of your argument, but don't see this as being such a distinction that it merits a name change. I agree with Lisa's comment above - let's not make our already misunderstood profession any more difficult to understand. One of the core values at our firm is curiosity. I'm always shocked that people choose to make a career in our industry and lack what I think is a fundamental component of marketing - curiosity. How can I know an employee will go the extra mile if they don't have it? I can't teach it. It's inborn. So I try my best during the interview process to ferret it out, measure it and see if they have enough to succeed.
