Worried about the "legacy Nvidia Shield" NOT being backwards compatible with the "new" versions with Stadia compatibility, really glad to see them bringing new hardware but just been around too long to know that they're going to make everyone buy new for the new software...

These are all moot points, when you order a physical copy you expect to get a cartridge/disc, what would happen if they tried to pull this over on PS4 or XBO, yeah it wouldn't happen. I have been buying these types of games for decades and when I buy physical I expect physical not a code in a box, so this rests entirely on the hands of the publisher and has nothing to do with the customer, too bad for them, they have a commitment to fulfill, whatever the quam is between Nintendo, Bethesda whatever that's on them to work out. We already pay the Switch tax which is ridiculous upon itself so this whole thing of well the bigger carts cost this and so on is BS, N is making so much right now it's ridiculous, so pass some of that onto your dev's or pubs or whatever but this is just getting out of control...

Is FFXV not running on the Unreal Engine, then why are not more devs talking or making use of the cloud ? What alot of ppl are missing is that the Switch is capable of running just about any next-gen/modern day game IF they make use of the cloud, it's really that simple, Nvidia has been doing this for several years with the Shield. So it's really all up to Nintendo to open up the online framework to let the devs use that to their advantage, rather then a dis-advantage, use the cloud for all their computation/unlimited cores/memory etc...The online isn't just for PvP or chat etc, it has far reaching aspects.

Have watched some videos and read some reviews and this seems to be the bottom of the barrel for Baseball games, so like anything I would have to imagine for Nintendo they took whatever was given ? Low res/textures so it would run well on the Switch.

Quotes are great and all but EA is about one thing and one thing only pleasing their investors, so don't mix up what EA used to be and what they are now. Sega was way ahead of it's time in hardware, and the only reason they folded their hardware (console) division wasn't because they couldn't make good games or good hardware it was because Sony and Microsoft spent Billions to destroy Sega...
