Wow, you have a beautiful blog! We homeschooled our girls for a couple of years before some major life altering events caused us to have to put them back in public school. Now one is married, one is about to start college and the other is a junior in high school! Time sure does fly!

She is TOO cute!

Until I became ill, I worked for a family practice doctor. He and I saw mostly pediatrics and a high population of those were babies. I was the one who had to give those tiny, squirmy, smiling babies their immunizations. It always broke my heart because they would be laying there, smiling up at me and then I would have to stick them with a needle. They would always lay there a couple of seconds after the first prick as they tried to figure out what had just happened. Then their little bottom lip would start to quiver. Some babies would scream and cry like mad and some would not cry at all. It is amazing the range of reactions you get from babies. But it always would break my heart because I was very quickly transformed into the 'bad guy'. :0( I just had to tell myself that I was helping to keep them safe and healthy.

It looks like you are doing an outstanding job as a new mother! She is absolutely beautiful!

That is so sad. I feel especially bad for the children involved. I agree with getting the media involved. No organization wants bad publicity. I will pray that they get this resolved quickly and get their precious family member returned to them.

WOW! What beautiful, powerful voices they have! The Lord has surely blessed them with a wonderful gift. I sure wish I could sing well. I love to do it, it just doesn't sound very good when I do. :o) You are very blessed if you can sing a song like this! I bet you and your friend will do a wonderful job tomorrow. I completely understand. I have 3 daughters. The oldest is 23, married with 2 children. My middle daughter will be 18 in about 2 weeks and will be starting college in the fall. This has me scared to death and really sad all at the same time. My youngest is 15. She is the one who is pushing all MY buttons right now. She is testing those boundaries and trying to see just how much she can get by with. They ALL are great girls and I am very, very blessed. However, the time HAS flown by so fast and I can't believe in just 2 years, my BABY will be the one graduating from high school. Where does all the time go?? It seems just like yesterday I was the one in high school. :0( I want the Lord to stop time and let me enjoy my girls like they are right now for just a while longer. I know He could but He won't. So I have to enjoy every single minute to its fullest and thank God for the 3 healthy, beautiful young WOMEN in my life.

Wow, that is really sweet. However, it kinda makes me feel sad, too. I'm A LOT older than you but I really wish sometimes that my parents still lived in the home that I grew up in. I lived there for the first 17 years of my life and I even lived there a short while during my first marriage. After my parents moved to the town we all live in now, my first husband and I rented it from them right after they moved. That was really weird.

Anyway, I'd give anything to 'go home' and see them there. I mean, thank the Dear Lord in Heaven, they are both still alive AND they are still married to each other after 48 years! I am truly blessed and I know it. I DO get to go see them all the time now in the home they built together and have lived in for many, many years but it's just not the same as 'going home' to your childhood home. I guess that's being a wee bit silly or greedy but I guess what I'm saying is cherish it while you can. And, do everything in your power to give your children the same thing your parents gave you. Unfortunately, my first marriage just did not work out. We were just way too young, However, I have been blessed to have been married to my amazing husband, best friend and the father of my 2 youngest daughters, for going on 20 years. We have just moved umpteen different times. I really, really regret that. We made a lot of really bad financial decisions early in our marriage and that is one thing I really wish I could go back and do over - for our children and for us. We have learned from our mistakes and we are not making them now but we are still suffering the consequences. YKWIM???

Ok, I've rambled on and on WAY too long! Sorry 'bout that! I really mostly came by to say thank you so much for visiting my blog and for supporting us last week when we had 'Wednesdays for Wyatt'. We got an additional 134 signatures on the petition, girlfriend!!!! We are trying to get many more today during WFW Week 2! If you get a chance, come by and see what Danielle has to say today.
