Ron, I really couldn't give you an honest opionion, as i don't watch Fox news at all really any more, (I get my news from the web and newspapers) my four year old doesn't enjoy it at all. Now... ask me my opinion on SpongeBob, I'll be happy to opine... ;)

Ron I agree with you. Inner city issues and crime, drugs and all that have absolutley nothing to do with race, and everything to do with poverty, desparate people will do desparate things skin color doesn't have anything to do with it.

No Ron, There is no human opinion in obtaining tv ratings, which is why when I asked if you could give me numbers on the substantial number of people who watched Fox but hated it, you couldn't.

No Thor you missed my earlier point. Just like the left is upset that the right is already attacking Obama before he has had a chance to do anything, I made the point that Obama's current polls have little importance now, due to that very concept. I said the current polls don't mean much, I even pointed out how high Carter and Bush were , and how they ended up low. My point was his approval rating at this point could go either way and until he has spent more time in office and his effectiveness can truly be measured, the polls don't mean much

Sheer numbers = no human interaction, based on numbers regardless of opionion. TV Ratings are shown generally in number of viewers, it isn't a percent comparison.

Approval Polls = Human interaction, based on your opinion of a given topic. Approval Polls are given with a percent, you are comparing a pro to the con.

how am i contradicting myself? Are you seroiusly comparing TV ratings with Presidential approval ratings? One is based off sheer numbers, the other is based off of opinion....

I never once questioned the polls, I'm actually pretty familiar with them. Couple of examples from both sides for you. Bush had the highest rated poll ever in the history of tracking. After 9/11 he had an approval rating of 90%, when he left office his approval was at 22% Jimmy Carter had an approval rating of 67% in his first 90 days, when he finished his term he was at 34%. So now you look at Obama, sitting at 63% for his first 90 days, the highest since Carter. Does that make him the best????? No, I would conclude that they really don't mean that much.
