Here in the UK it seems that people are turning to the web in droves - probably because it is much quicker to compare prices online than it is to visit half a dozen outlets, not forgetting of course that we all realize you can often get the same item at a lower price online.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;As part of this  online 'upturn' we are finding that even just a little targeting of emails increases email sales, but beware, we are also finding that opt-ins are becoming less tolerant of marketing emails generally, long-standing opt-ins are increasingly hitting 'unsubscribe' or (even worse) 'spam'.&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Susan_Young</dc:creator><pubDate>Tue, 16 Dec 2008 05:07:23 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
