Take a look at the numbers of amendments the House, held by Republicans, have tried to pass. I believe it is over 300 and 7 have gotten through the Senate and signed by the President. Perhaps "the squeaky wheel" doesn't apply enough oil or has no media support!

Check the amounts of legislation the House of "pansy's" has submitted to the Senate. I believe only 7 have been signed by the President, but the total number is quite considerable.

Unfortunately it is not easy to impeach. President Clinton was technically impeached, but he did not leave office until his last four years were completed.
With a Democratic Senate and a Republican House the chances are slim if not impossible.

I agree completely. West seems to be trustworthy, well spoken, well educated, ad- infinitum. .As much as I admire him, I wonder if he would do more in the Senate? Vice Presidents seem to get lost and West shouldn't be! I would vote for him as V.P. America would be well served by this officer and gentleman.

Newt has the brains, the background and the ability to overcome diversity. He defended his position concerning homosexuality to his great credit and he does and always has loved, written and studied this country and it's constitution. No more "caveat imp-tor" (buyer beware) with this man. If nominated he will have my vote.

Doesn't look like Obama is going to pay attention to anyone, Rahm included. Americans should be worried about the tax relief Bush provided and Obama is dismanteling. It's not just the rich as portrayed, its you and me who will be hurting. Rahm should go for that input alone, but even that's wrong, it's our voting in this idiotic senate and congress who make these laws and taxes. Throw them all out and then worry about Palin. She's smart and pretty...no dummy for sure.

Any comment I could make about the stimulus bill is meanless now that it has passed. I do applaud your efforts regarding Earmarks, but I wonder why the beginning of the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac debacle has not been reported accurately. I found the history of the CRA on wikipedia.org. Republicans failed as you stated so well in your interview on 60 Minutes, but they always seem hesitant or afraid to exploit Carter and Clinton Administration legislation that furthered this collapse and the accompanying bank disasters. Mr. Flake we are moving toward socialism on a daily basis and now I note the FCUA has effectively nationalized two institutions, one in Kansas and another in California. Americans are getting what they voted for, but the expense of this last vote is beyond belief. I sincerely hope you and Jon Kyle can do something to stop and then correct this Democratic disaster.

T:How to Spend a Trillion Dollars was very informative and made a good attempt to point out the differences between the two parties. Support to insure Collins, Snow and Spectre (sp) are NOT re-elected should be a primary objective in the next election. My faith in this Stimulus Package, Obama, Reid and Pelosi does not exist. I hope America can dig out of this mess quickly with honest, straight forward, reputable members of Congress and that may be a monumental, impossible hope.
