I'm the king of rationalization. In fact, I'm doing it right now in Rising Heroes by doing the easy stuff and telling myself I don't have enough time to do the hard stuff. I've felt victimized by my own lack of motivation, always saying that it'd be easier if someone would push me, when the person who should be doing that is me.

I'm going to go home and indulge in my super power. I said early in the month when I joined RH, that I'd record some basic martial arts videos to help people learn how to punch and kick properly. I'm going to finish this, submit it, turn off my computer and go home and record them tonight.

This isn't anything that offended me, it just casts a light where I don't want to look. I'm tired of doing this to myself. I'm done with fooling myself. My belly hitting the desk in front of me has pissed me off for the last time.

this is great because it allows you to have a progressive measure to follow and adjust as the day goes on. First action is to get a nice notebook from Staples to use for my bullet journal.

the mirror we face is affected not only by our own opinion of ourselves, but also how we perceive how others see us. I know that I was in a horrible situation at work and had begun to internalize a lot of the crap being slung at me. The person in the mirror became less and less until I realized that a lot of the 'crap' came from people protecting themselves by redirecting problems at me to solve. Self awareness is often a rough journey as I found out, but I did make it, and now I'm here :)

I agree that it fits a need I wasn't even aware of until I started trying to communicate all of my sticky notes at home to the guy who works with me in the office. Right now we only use one board, but I can see how it'd work better to have a board for each project.

What I'd love to see would be a way to look at progress for all boards.

Hey there, unfortunately there's nothing you can do except try to calm him and hold him. Nothing's going to get thru, so try not to let it get you super frustrated. Thankfully, it'll pass, just don't know when.

about the same situation except that I ran my kids through in a hood and hat and got a few grumbled comments. Dropped them off, pulled off the hood and hat and presented a much nicer looking front when I walked back through and got a few murmured approvals.

I smiled at the leader and she realized she had just bitched about me. Winked at her, wanting to give her the finger, but I held off and just left them talking :)
