Great article and a great example especially. I totally agree with the last couple of paragraphs and I think the title should be 'create your emotions own world' because emotions rules everything. That is why I always try to put all of them down and make a rational decision (especially when I'm angry)!

I just had a hard laugh when I heard there was an inbuild calculator. I do understand the benefit though, but the distributer was actually trying to convince me with these points. 'And there are a lot of extras, for instance, you can use it as a calculator!' 'Oh really, for all the students who don't have a cellphone in their pockets?' :')

Great guys, plans to do more with the podcast?

Hey guys! good to see you guys back at CES. I had to adapt to the new heads though ;) But awesome.

Two points: Why didn't you open a beer! I remember seeing Chris sitting in that chair opening beers with swag (even a chair, right?). You are reviewing an iphone headcase BEER OPENER!
Second: Livescribe pen a nice pen? Serious? Again, I remember a podcast where Chris and Kelly reviewed the thing and said the right thing: 'Who wants to sit in class with such a pen which makes noises and everything.' 160$ + 20$ five times a year for new notebooks. That isn't a college tool, no matter how cool it is. I had the chance to review one of those and eventually I didn't publish it, basicly because the distributer of the product wasn't happy with the review. Why? The thing doesn't make any sense at all!

But again: Good to see hackcollege back on the screen!

I've seen that once. A guy just had 'hisname.nl'. Really minimalist and really awesome. Just have a 'wow' feeling when you get that card.

Pomodoro is an awesome technique. But in some sort of way I don't really seem to get it. After 5 min, I can't stop with what I am doing.. Just need more training I suppose!

I have a business card which says: 'Hi, I'm Stefan, who are you?'
And on the back there is my full name, phone number and personal website. Should consider one for my main blog though! Awesome.

Yes, we have a disadvantage now.

We can do two things:
As you've said, we can break in their privacy, violate their rights and become enemies.

Or, we can fight them with studying smarter. Lets focus on learning to study, lets become a better student. Improve the way you study, improve the way you learn. Improve who you are, without using any drugs. Let us become better persons, in a good way.

Taming my hair is bit of a problem. I love my (pretty long) hair, and taming it is hard. It will never look perfect, but I think that is what it makes it perfect!

Enthusiasm will be my biggest tip for a first impression. Be interested in what other are telling to you, and indeed, never be the negative nancy!

I too have a lot of extracurricular activities, and I have some time management problems also. But indeed, what you say. Devide your time, choose what is important to you.
I don't want to become too involved at my sport club also, so I just don't. I'll do some other commisions which are MORE fun, and look way better on my cv.

I use F6 all the time to select the address bar. And Google Chrome is just awesome, because you can just type in a website name and it will fill in the rest. So I type: the2-enter and I am here!

There are some new tricks you've learned me by the way, like the shortcut to apps! Great!

That is one thing what I can't understand with Google Chrome, where are the extensions?

Wow. But 150$ a month sounds pretty much for a poor student (considering we don't have starbucks here in the Netherlands). But on the other side, a couple of beers less during the week and you have that money also!

Wow, the last one is great. I am a freshman for four weeks now, and I also went to a lot of parties. Which results in no school work done, 3 posts on my blog and me not feeling happy at all.

Partying is still pretty cool, but not that necessary. Since yesterday, I have a goal again and I am willing to skip some parties and work my ass off!
