Very nice guy! You have many reasons to be proud.

Re: Photo Slideshow | Camp Invention - Bremerton Patriot

Thank you!

Re: Silverdale's water named 'best-tasting' in the Northwest - Central Kitsap Reporter

Actually, no, but that is funny.

It is just one of eight stories I am working on for the next issue of two papers I must write for. Since it was the most recently uploaded story, it was placed as the lead story, and I totally agree with you, it should not have been.

I do my best to cover the most interesting things on my beat, which is education, environment, transportation, health, social services and growth. I have done road updates, Swine Flu updates, many articles on students who are doing some pretty cool stuff (OC students built a mini-baja vehicle, Erin O'Brien got a "full-ride" to MIT) and I have even done a few "spot-news" stories.

I am new to the paper, having been here less than 60 days, and am doing my best to build a network of contacts and sources for stories. I am rarely at the office and spend a lot of time in the community, talking to schools, meeting public officials, etc. I must also split my time between Bremerton and Silverdale (again, I write for two papers). We are here to serve both communities, and you, as part of those communities. Please feel free to email me with any items you would like to see covered or ideas you might have for good stories.

Re: Collision on Silverdale Way blocks traffic - Central Kitsap Reporter

There are so many accidents there. Sometimes it is scary.
