We decided to run the additional stories online because they were well-written.

The stories labeled "winner" are first place and then subsequent stories are not second, third place, etc — we just deemed them good.

You're right ... this is about Jacksonville. The print edition had Jacksonville as a header that didn't make its way online. Sorry for the confusion, we've made the correction.

The GasBuddy is a free, low-power widget we've put on our site. We've requested they add Jacksonville but it's doubtful they'll go through the trouble due to the nature of the thing.

We're not sure why J'ville isn't included and other smaller cities are.

I've been buying strawberries from several different grocery stores and vendors in the area. Everything I bought was imported from California.

We should have a lot of strawberries in Alabama. Why are they being imported from California? They bruise easily and they're hard.

I asked the vendors and they say that's all there is at the markets.
