According to the stock trader's almanac...August's next to last day the S&P was up only once in the last 11 years. :-)

The almanac doesn't have any info for tomorrow, but for Tuesday the Dow has been up 11 of last 13 - Crushed in 2002, off 4.1%. They say that September is the most dangerous after triple witching week and dramatically so during the 2000-2002 bear market. Dow down 14 of last 17....I'm still short this crazy market and hopefully DELL's bad report will be the catalyst. It's going to be pretty hard to paint another white candle on the SPY tomorrow.

The last time the SPY two hour stochastics were this high was on June 5th. We all know what happened after that.

I'm using full 14,3,3 stoch with a two hour chart on SPY. If I draw a line from todays stoch close the only touch I get is June 5th. I'm trying really hard to stay short until I see SPX $1,315 taken out..Yes, I am crazy ;-)

Financials look very toppy here. XLF is sitting at the very top on my 2 hour stochastic chart. The inverse SKF is currently sitting at the bottom of my 2 hour, 1 hour and 30 min stochastic charts..

Mole, Thats what I'm thinking too. Look at the $TICK index. It closed at -1006. This has only happened twice in ten years. I'm thinking they run it up one more time before the castration begins.
