I don't even know who this one is supposed to be about. I can think of one group that fits the bill, but the sudden (and extremely short-lived) support they got from Stormfront was several months ago, and also Kris already did a lame strawman comic about them.

Don't think so. Modern Warfare 2 does it (it does a pretty good impression of the actual emergency broadcast actually; if you didn't know better you could mistake it for a real emergency)

That disclosure at the end of the article is pretty much what the actual supporters of Gamergate wanted all along, but all its opponents seem to insist that the ones blowing that horn are just a fringe group trying to make the movement look good and the real movement is the few dozen trolls sending death threats.

That bit about libertarians was also entirely unnecessary and obtuse. No one reads Wired for politics.

EDIT: Lastly, it makes no sense to ask why a movement that claims to be about ethics in game JOURNALISM is not dealing with ethics in game DEVELOPMENT.
