I don't think Lucas Duda is part of the Mets future. I think he'll be best served as trade bait to an American League team, where he can flourish as a part-time/full-time DH. He's not defensively proficient at any position, though his first base could be passable.

Come on man, Nunez was throwing GREAT stuff last night, all of his pitches had tremendous sink and he really looked like a stud. But I also feel New York is a larger baseball market and losing David Wright would sadden more people. That being said, I like the Blue Jays (and Canada) and wish Halladay stayed there forever. But look, now you have Kyle Drabek.

Regardless of anyone's rational of celebrating death, it's hard to overlook that these actions are serving as bait for the next attack. The US would be foolish not to leave the Middle East immediately.

Do we want to lose? We're already having trouble scoring runs and the anemic Scott Hairston, defense-only Chin-Lung Hu, and "what is he doing on this team" Mike Nickeas is 1/3 of the lineup. Excellent.

Good post, I was equally upset when Pelfrey got booed. Not a fan of booing your own team -- I understand Pelfrey's been roughed up, at the same time at this time last year he was our best pitcher... all the way through the All-Star Break.
