There are laws in place for dipping. There are laws in place for cigarette smoking. There laws regarding any tobacco use by minors and adults alike. Fines result yet I see smoking/vaping on any campus I go to. Attendance has suffered on many campuses because of the type of enforcement. Kids are not under surveillance 24 hours a day. A good student smokes and knows it's bad. A good student dips and knows it's bad. They need to be taught to make good decisions. I know adults that struggle with that. So the answer is to drag them to court and fine them or their parents? Make a "criminal" out of an otherwise good kid. Your SRO says they can't get them all. All the money spent of this level of enforcement could be used another way. I have a novel idea...since this is a school. What say we educate them! Teach them the repercussions of using these products. Teach them about what it takes to be an adult. That's where they are headed...un-right brains and all. Make it relevant to their high school careers. It's not the complete answer but for goodness sake keep it relevant. Mentor, model and be that good example.

This is not rocket science....lard is best. Gluten is a fad and 99% of people have no ill effects because of it. A seasoned meat wrapped in a doughie corn based mix wrapped in a wet corn husk ...steamed! Sub the seasoned meat with whole spinach leaves and a hunk of cheese. We've lined ours with a peanut butter and chocolate mix just for giggles. Kids went nuts over them. Scramble some eggs and crumbled bacon. Let your imagination be your guide....
