As a primary distributor in the Southeast United States as well as in the international market, Top Quality Hay has literally priced themselves out of the market for us distributors and even directly to the larger retail consumers. Their marketing plans will require an exponential amount of financing to get themselves on the retail market map since they've priced themselves out of the wholesale market. I will admit, their product is unique and truly top quality, but not a big seller until they can reduce their costs to distribute their product closer to the USDA estimated market values. 410/ton for a alfalfa grass mix off the dock is not appealing to anyone.
