Clubs don't compete for players? So every club tried to sign Blaise Nkufo, but the Sounders won some sort of lottery? Every club had their hands in the Lindpere deal?

Or are you just making stuff up due to a failure to understand how/why single entity exists and is used?

People care about the Sonics because they had some history of being decent.

1 - You have no evidence that MLS is what required Sounders to limit their ticket sales.
2 - last year they "capped" sales at 22,000, how'd that work for them? Also 35,500 is more than 50% of 67,000. You have match problems
3 - 5,000 is not 6% of 32,000. They also haven't officially announced that Starfire will be the location of the CCL matches. CONCACAF actually hasn't approved the use of Starfire, and it likely does not meet their requirements. So nice try, but you are just plain WRONG.
4 - The league has not turned fans away. Nor have the Sounders, they expanded seating on five occaissions last year, and are likely to do the same this year. Parity does not equal random by the way, you should look into those definitions a bit.

Love the phrase "designed for soccer" rather than soccer specific. It clearly notes that places like Qwest and Pizza Hut count, while Community America and Gilette do not.

American Militarism is the reason that Slovenia is a nation. Same for Bosnia, Kosovo, Croatia. You could argue that its true for Slovakia as well. It is the reason for French and British independence as well.
Do we have black marks in our military history? Certainly, every military does. Every single one.
Our military rushed to rescue and aid millions in Indonesia after the tsunami. Kuwaitis love the US Army.

Why should the US National Team's fans avoid military references when it is clear that other nations' fans will not as well?

I don't know that not having stadiums built already for 2022 should hurt Qatar. How many NFL stadiums (comparable size, pressbox, technology, etc) has the USA built in the past 12 years?

Although the following line made me laugh "hoping to promote regional (Arab) unity" because it has been tried, sooo many times, and it never works.

Sweden's Cost of Living and Tax Rate are so high that it certainly wasn't about short term money. He'd need twice as much money to have the same standard of living.

Columbus didn't win the league though. They won the regular season. When the matches mattered the most, they lost - twice.

RSL has now played 32 MLS matches for 46 points, if you care to see it that way. Just look at the Playoffs as additional to the season, I doubt we will ever see a MLS Cup winner with a smaller amount of points than other teams in the league.

USL-2 can't afford to lose more teams. Hammerheads were already kicked out by the league, dropping two would mean that the 3rd level USSF division would only have 6 teams. That's what we call a problem.

And since USL-1 is losing most of the teams that turn a profit they couldn't supplement a merged league so places like Bermuda could travel to Portland OR.

Considering that one of the largest complaints on this site,and MANY others, is that MLS plays on international match days expansion and a single table kills any attempt to get off that issue. 2011 could mean a 36 match calendar (19 teams) with only 31 or 32 weekend dates available not counting international dates. Add the 9 dates inside the MLS season and now you are talking over a third of league matches on days that fans just don't show up. How does that help the sport?

It does not. Purity will not put fans in the seats.

I have an answer to the Conference/Playoff thing, but with my club in Playoffs I have to wait to write more.

Expansion will continue
Supporters Shield gets the EXACT same treatment as MLS Cup winners by the league

Because few enough people go due to the distance from the city. They have the problems of FC Dallas and the "problems" of Sounders.

Literally New England has the worst of the suburban and timeshare stadium situations.

Partnerships between MLS and NFL can earn tens of millions in PROFIT. His BS earns about 12$ +the stuff from SUM

He should explore a sharing agreement with Harvard Stadium.

Sure, it would be Field Turf (which I know people here hate) and many sightlines wouldn't be ideal, but it is a 30K stadium DOWNTOWN.

I blame Brad North and David Roth for players at Northwestern not respecting the league. They are the only 2 Northwestern players drafted into the league, and if they are the best players from the school and not in the leauge maybe that's why the current players aren't respecting the league?

Let's be honest players from Washington, Maryland, Wake Forest, Duke, Harvard, Virgina, the California schools aren't going to bad mouth the league, because they have a chance to be players, not just viewers.

I would love RSL to make the MLS Cup Playoffs, and Dallas to just miss due to losing to Seattle in the season finale at Qwest.

Because that would not just mean that the West would have 6 in the Playoffs (after all the pre-season hype was on the East), but also that the West would have even its 7th team better than a majority of the East.

The PDL teams are a majority amatuer (including at least one University team) and are part of the USL framework. Again, both in Germany and Spain the Reserve sides compete in the standard pyramid.

I know SafeCo has hosted soccer, so maybe Miller. Madison and Green Bay also come to mind as "Milwaukee-ish" places that could work.

They'd be closer than DC to Atlanta.
