I view the 13" primarily as a second computer, and by no means a primary. I'm perfectly fine with my huge iMac and taking the 13" to class. The quirks do take some time to get used to, keyboard included, but after two years I find it hard to use a normal keyboard, what with the awkwardly deep throw distances and all.

2. the closing the window doesn't close the program thing irked the crap out of me too, until I noticed how long some things (word) take to open, then I was more than happy to leave it running in the background.

3. I believe, and I could be wrong that the Fn key+ arrow keys takes over the home, end, page up and page down functionality. Apple has, since 2008, killed a lot of the functions which were also printed on the keys when I bought my MacBook in 2007.

4. Also Fn+Delete is actually "Delete" as we all know it.

I don't program often anymore, but I"m trying to learn Objective-C atm, and I find X-code and the other osx tools are pretty nifty. Not so much unless you're doing OSX development of course, but nifty nonetheless.
