Are we trying to Black Mail the Federal Government? If the stimulus program works for our benefit than we won't sock it to students at UMASS? How about the CEO and higher ups taking a cut in pay.
The Board of Trustees should do what the all American companies do. Layoff the highest paying people and re-hire some people at a lower pay scale and lay off anyone who is close to retirement and give them a smaller options package than what they deserve.
Its about time the fat cats in the schools, and state jobs take a hit financially! Little guys have been taking the hit a long time. Elderly are another group who get the rug pulled out from them so much their standing on carpet samples now. And yet through all this the senate votes themselves a raise............
There should be a freeze on all bonus and raises in the state government. Maybe Deval could trade in his caddy for a Hundai

I think increasing the tax on gas is about as wise is building Casinos ! People are having a tough time putting food on the table now . People who don't have jobs or are working for minimum wage can't afford a tax on gas. Deval your trying to get blood from a turnip! You can't solve the entire deficient problem in one year. Lets not kill the little guy with taxes.
Your are obviously not a man of your word about not raising taxes either. Your loosing credibility in this state very quickly and I sure don't see you getting re-elected in the future.

I know it is expensive to see your child to one of these schools. They deserve to have contributions also. So because these schools are making a profit and not sinking in a hole like the rest of the country, Duval Patrick feels they need to be watched more closely???? I think Duval Patrick should have them do the state budget for him, they do a better job.
Also the ones needing watching are not the ones who can do a budget it is the ones that can't do the budget!
Lets punish the Charter Schools for doing a great job! Good idea Gov Patrick.

The car dealer needs to be prosecuted in front of a jury, hopefully people who have not delt with him.
He also needs to have his sales license revoked and never ever given another sales license for anything including selling ice cream on the street corner. This man doesn't have an idea what it means to be honest.

The mother was home sick with a fever for a week when this was happening to her toddler, if this is correct, than the mother needs to be brought up on charges too.
What kind of a person would withhold fluids from a child for a week and then trick them into drinking a hot sauce.
