Well said, $$. I would add that it is simply due to the lack of leadership and lack of accountability. Mikey is hiding behind his crumbling facade. Like the previous analogy of rats bailing out of a sinking ship this once mighty, reputable and proud city is quickly becoming a dump.

Do the right thing and sign. You try and portray yourself as a self proclaimed fiscal conservative maven when you are nothing but a two faced hack dragging this once great city into the great abyss. Why not sharpen a pencil or two and re-up with the FDIC, serve a greater cause, and solve the world's problems by saving a bank or two. I am surprised Bernanke & Paulson haven't called yet. If they won't take you back maybe you could pick some weeds along your bike path to keep it clear.
