I didn't know you were going to put ME in the story!! You did indeed capture Bob's mischievous spirit. I often tire out and leave the Waltz, Etc. dance before Bob does. Somebody had some flares, so they followed those which really helped. It was very tense waiting to hear that they had been picked up. At one point it was reported that one of the victims had lost consciousness. Scary experience for everyone involved. I hope they are all right!

Re: Mixed-use building to take spot of Ballard Bartell's

Please keep the existing Bartell's where it is!

Re: Suspicious package at Ballard bank; eight people evacuated

Thanks for the updates, guys!

Re: Former owner of microhousing site: 'I didn't know'

Oh B.J., I'm so sorry to hear that this developer led you to believe that he would re-use some of your house! I'm sure you felt horrible when you found out the truth! And he scammed us all by lying about his intentions for the property. Some people truly live only to make money. In the end, money will be all he has. SHAME on him!!

Re: A new community group: Friends of NW 65th

Micro-hoods has also been used to describe these little neighborhood areas. ;-)

Re: Murray on Burke-Gilman: Maybe not a good idea

You can kiss off my support, too! Beyond the issue of whether or not the occupants of the building will have cars that they are parking on neighborhood streets, what about visitors?Even when I, myself, didn't own a car my *friends* owned cars. They would park in my neighborhood when they visited me. Now the friends of forty-some people will be looking for parking in this neighborhood when they visit their (possibly) car-less apodment-dwelling friends. Even one such project in a neighborhood would create problems, but unless the rules are changed we will be looking at several! I am really concerned about the impact of projects that add people without parking!

Re: At Large in Ballard: Ask Peggy

It sounds like you had a lovely day.
