He's no corporate democrat, did not endorse or support Obama and has been an extremely vocal voice against his foreign policy.

Check out his work on this site and DemocracyNow!

Re: How About a New FB/Twitter App for Victims of US Warcrimes?

"I am just wondering why someone would diss the types of outlet that is letting them thrive?!"

Are you referring to Blackwater/US Military or Twitter?

Re: RebelReports -
Shame: The 'Anti-War' Democrats Who Sold Out and Gave Billions More for War

The business/war parties strike again! Remember how Barack Obama was painted to be this heroic figure because he opposed the invasion of Iraq when support was sky high? Now his administration is threatening those who would oppose the wars in Iraq/Afghanistan/Pakistan. We need to open our eyes to the true reality of the political system in America. This is a one party state with two fairly similar factions.

Also interesting is the 180 by Republicans on war spending. During the Bush Admin if a Dem rep didn't vote to increase spending they were painted as terrorist sympathizers and the such. Now, clearly, Republicans opposed this bill for different reasons, however, it is interesting to watch how the Republicans act when they are out of power. Schizo's.

I hope people are opening their eyes and seeing the forest for the trees here. Real change will not be achieved in America until we can break out of the so-called two party mindset.

Thank you for your reporting, Jeremy.

Re: Terry McAuliffe's Attempt to Bribe Ralph Nader is Product of "Two-Party Tyranny"

"Right, just don’t run for office if you aren’t running as a member of the corporate duopoly or the Democrats will try to bribe you and then fight to keep your name off the ballot."

My thoughts exactly. It was fairly easy to tell that McAuliffe was a sleaze -bag from the 08 campaign, now it's even more clear. And thank you for dispelling this myth that Nader is the reason Bush was in office.

I voted for Nader in '08 and I'll continue to vote for 3rd party candidates as long as the Democratic party remains a faction of the pro-business pro-war duopoly.

Re: RebelReports -

New Bush Torture Bombshell Memos: 10 Horrifying Discoveries

Jeremy,
Maybe you could help me out.. I'm here in Southern California, not far from where John Yoo is located. President Obama obviously has no intention of prosecuting, so I feel as if we have to take that into our hands. I'm interested in carrying out a citizens arrest on John Yoo. I have other activists who are interested in this as well. I read that you email Scott Horton and other constitutional lawyers, I would be interested in their opinion on this. It would be more symbolic than anything, but myself and others feel as if we have no other choice.

Re: RebelReports -

He is praised by Democrats and fake liberal politicians and commentators alike for being a "new kind of politician" by including the costs of both occupations in his budget. And then these same people stand right by his side as he advances and further proves that Dem/Repubs are part of the same party-- the war/business party-- by advancing the interests of the Military Industrial Complex. Doublespeak, indeed.

Re: Obama Went to Iraq and Visited... the Airport. Was it the Sandstorms or the Rising Shitstorm?

What role do you see Obama playing as the short-term "success" of the surge begins to break down and the "shitstorm" ensues, as we are seeing now? Possibly a more aggressive, continued occupation with even more troops/mercenaries staying in Iraq than have already been detailed in his so-called withdrawal plan?

Re: Martin Luther King, Jr. Speech Against Vietnam War Still Relevant Today

"..the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today: my own government."
